Since my experience driving in the rain the other morning, I've started noticing how sometimes here in Tampa, a drive is like a modern landscape because it can have so much color. For example, the other evening, the sky was pink and blue and white like the most gorgeous background and I again thought, modern painters could be painting THIS.

So, today I again started searching for people who have been painting this type of modern landscape (with cars and sky) and I found this woman's work. Jane Dickson. She had an exhibit called Night Driving.

This painting is called Blue Bridge. (It's by Jane Dickson.) It's oil on astroturf! :D
