You agree that there is so much more important issues facing this nation, other than legalized dope and allowing Bob and Tom to get married right? You agree that this nation has been in crises mode for a good decade right? You agree that there are 20 million unemployed Americans wondering how they are going to make their next rent/house payment? You agree that the public education system is a fucking disaster? Different issues are important to different people - there may be more pressing matters relevant to ME - but I know that legalizing gay marriage means so much to so many. And putting aside the recreational aspect of pot, legalizing it will make it easier for those it helps to easily access it.

Nobody is placing weed and gay marriage above the economy, education, the wars, etc. I think it is simply inaccurate to think so.

The bottom line is that the laws pertaining to weed and gay marriage were passed. This pleases people. This doesn't mean it is more important tot hem as the other topics stated.

This is so incredibly egregious. Nobody is placing the issues of marijuana and gay marriage above the econ., edu., the wars, etc.
