Yeah, no offense to Greg, but I feel like the only just action would've been my said set of actions. Letting security handle it just wouldn't give me the satisfaction nor the acceptance in my eyes. If someone pissed on me I would probably turn into a complete lunatic. I would also probably drag him up onstage , shove Eddie's uke up his ass, take the mic and call this piece of trash out in front of everyone.
at that point would Eddie have said..."It's a Mandolin you uncultured f*ck!" (j/k, but that got a laugh out of me when Eddie said that last night!)
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

How many times is he gonna use that joke? He's gotta get some new material. And I'm talking about his Tele uke. I looked on this website that sells them. They want like $800 I think. Ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous is that I'm considering buying one.

I don"t know....I kind of see it as a "Creed joke".....always funny.
That is a fair price for a Uke that can be used in a live setting IMO.

Nah, I could see like half that for one. And there's nothing too great about that uke other than it was craft like a Tele. I guess that's what you're paying for then - the craftsmanship.
Ok thats NASTY!!! (pissypants guy).
I witnessed something like this like 11-12 years ago at a Van Halen concert.
It was at the Molson Ampitheatre and I was the last row in the 200 level. Pedestrian walkway was right behind me and we were off to the side near the bathroom.
There was this guy in his mid to late 30's right in front of me...he was smashed out of his mind and stoned. During one of the songs he pulled out his member and pissed right at his seat. Everyone was standing and watching the stage so nobody but my friend and I noticed. I couldn't tell if the stream splashed on anyone but since its an ampitheatre the seats are sloped so I feel bad for the people in the row in front of him...prob stood in Urine and didn't know it.
I looked around for security but didn't see anyone so I didn't say anything...but I was so glad that I was BEHIND this loser.
Its wrong in ANY situation, but it takes on a whole new level of wrong in a beautiful place like that chicago theatre....GROSS!
"Rock and roll is something that can't be quantified, sometimes it's not even something you hear, but FEEL!" - Bob Lefsetz
I was in Row S, but on the right side...I did see someone getting removed by security, but there wasn't much of a commotion. Wonder if it was the same thing.
We did have a delightful young man sitting next to us who was stumbling drunk and spilled half his beer on my friend, then threw the cup on the floor, looked at him, and said "sh!t happens". Um, okay.
Thankfully he left about five songs in and didn't come back. $80 well spent, buddy!

Why is it that people think it is perfectly acceptable to spill beer on other people? No other liquid has such a mystique!
We were unable to recognize just one winner, so we have a dual champion
1. I'd like to recognize the potato head sitting two rows in front of me in ORCH R, row P, seat 307. Smooth move pissing all over yourself, the floor, and the people in Row "O". Was glad to see you tossed out. You probably needed another beer.
2. Lets not forget his little fluff boy with the Mookie Blaylock jersey on and the poor Ziggy Marley immitation "Shi*tlocks" in his hair who not only had to pump his fist and jump up and down like a school girl when Eddie started playing "Sometimes", but had the gall to start arguing with the guy who asked security to deal with his little buddy. The guy's response was great when Lil' Mookie asked him why did you have to narc on my boy.........he says...."ARE YOU SERIOUS.........HE PISSED ON ME"
On a side note, I thought overall, the crowd was very respectful of Ed and had a great time.

i still live by the same adage that I was taught as a child...threat people has you wish to be treated. I don't want any liquid dumped on me, ergo beer is not acceptable also. I do have a bit of tolerance if someone bumps into a beer holding fan in a crowded area and it was truly an accident. What I don't like is someone "accidentally" whipping out their unit to water the floor/seat/patrons.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
I'd like to warn everyone one that the pisser is coming back tonight. He's going to be in the upper balcony this time, though.
Hopefully not the front row.

I just don't get how anyone, could in any way, shape or form, even think this is okay! Its just bizarre. Who pulls out the equipment and pees in a theatre seat in PUBLIC? I just can't understand the mind of an individual like that, honestly.

I have not posted here in years, but felt I should. Greg was with me with my fan club tickets, and I feel so bad his night got ruined as well as mine.
As he said, they were obnoxious from the word go! They talked loud throughout the show, Mookie was having a loud phone conversation during a song, Drunkie was yelling at people sitting down and announced he wasn't going to sit down, they made comments about me and Greg, etc.
I didn't realize what had happened; I thought Greg had had enough and got the guy thrown out because he was so out of hand. I heard Greg yelling at Mook about him pissing and saw he was in another (dry) seat, so I was glad he was okay and could probably now enjoy the rest of the show.
I wanted to beat the living daylights out of them myself.
I went tonight and was surprised about Eddie making mention of the incident. Guess the drunk got a setlist out of the deal. I know it's not much, but it's like he's rewarded for ruining people's evening and acting like a complete animal...worse than an animal...for urinating in public, and Greg got nothing for enduring an evening of harrassment.

As I mentioned before, I was the big/tall man in the Rolling Stones Tye Dye T shirt that helped Greg find a dry seat and I was disgusted by the actions of mookie and his boy toy. I honestly lost a little respect for Eddie's security for rewarding him with a setlist. He should have been taken out of the place the way I used to take people out of Double Overtime Bar when I worked as a bouncer.....head first and "missing the door" several times. That type of action is a disgrace to to good people who want to enjoy the show.
I wish I could have offered more to you and Greg to help salvage your night.

He told a lenghty story about how the fool argued that he didn't piss himself even though his Khakis were no longer khaki and the evidence was strong against him. He then went on to say that his security rewarded behavior that I would not accept from my 2 year old with an original setlist. Very disappointing IMO.

Yeah, when he told that story, I was a little angered. I was like 5 rows back from this incident. Saw the argument during the show and piss boy being escorted out. Didn't catch full word of what happened until outside after the show and then reading about it on here. And I definitely remember seeing the Mookie dude, actually thought it was a cool jersey, haha. But needless to say, shocked by the whole thing. Truly hard to fathom this kind of behavior. And then Ed basically gives him a shout-out during the show and they gave him a setlist. I'm kinda sad about the whole thing to be honest.
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

Who the hell pisses in their seat?! I would have been angry too... what a night ruiner.
if he drinks like he did last night, he will probably fall out of the balcony and land on me in my ten club seats or even worse, land on my wife.
He's going to show his face again in public?!?!?
that guy has some kind of kahonas. Perhaps umbrellas should be handed
out with the programs for those sitting below tonight.

trying to have a ziggy marley hairstyle (which is pretty cool) and failing miserably.
Makes sense!
Mke was a worse crowd.
My top 2 reasons-
1- Ed warned them right away and put Mke down to encourage good behavior
2- Because it was Chicago Ed gave them a longer leash, no doubt about it.
Both were great shows!
Worse fan award for me was the lady yelling over and over "We love you Eddie" We were in Orch A Row P in 500's. Great seats by the way.
My best fan goes to the lady who worked at the venue, she was jammin the entire night and having one heck of a time!
