Yah. He's a real good man. You can tell he really cares by the way he spoke of all the country's minions.

  • Romney also promised to bring in a constitutional amendment to end marriage equality for GLBT couples. Then he said he wouldn't. And then he said he would. Then said he wouldn't.

Then he signed a pledge to say he would.

    Then backed off of that.

    And yesterday said he would.

And let's not forget that he was against abortion and then said he wouldn't bring in any new abortion laws and I think at the moment we're at the "from day one' abortion law. But that will change again in a couple days.

He's also said that he would lower the tax rate for the top 1% earners. But then he said he would lower it for everyone BUT the top 1% earners.

But then again... said he would lower it 10% for everyone, including the top 1% earners.

So ariel... since you're so wise... will he or will he not donate his salary? And... to whom will he donate it?

Because virtually all of his "charity" donations are really just to his "church," and that "church' takes that money and does things like build castles and shrines to itself like this...

    beautiful-castle-lds-mormon-salt-lake-city-lds-temple-Favim.com-160459.jpg

And then takes more of the money and sends teenagers all over the world (Mitt Romney himself was sent to wait out the Vietnam was hiding in France) so they can recruit more people into their "religion."

Right now the main concern should be al Qaeda recruiting more people into there extremist Islamic religion. Not Mormons recruiting people into a non extremist organization. So who gives a Damned? !

We do know Obama donated here....

When Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, he told the prize committee to wire the money directly to the following charities: $250,000 to Fisher House, which gives free housing to veterans and military families getting medical treatment. $200,000, plus any remaining unallocated money, to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund of the Clinton Foundation, a fund that helped rebuild Haiti in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake. $125,000 to the American Indian College Fund, which gives scholarships to Native Americans. $125,000 to the Appalachian Leadership and Education Foundation, which gives scholarships to low-income residents of the Appalachia region. $125,000 to College Summit, an organization that aims to raise college enrollment rates. $125,000 to the Posse Foundation, which provides full scholarships to extraordinary high school students. $125,000 to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, which gives scholarships to Latino students. $125,000 to the United Negro College Fund, which gives scholarships to Black students. $100,000 to Africare, an organization that builds wells and treats disease in Africa. $100,000 to the Central Asia Institute, which focuses on education and public health, primarily for girls in Central Asia By Business Insider

Hm. And here I thought that our main concern should be that our economy is only just gaining traction and that we need to encourage job growth and get people spending their money again.

Funny you should say that. But Mormons were a lot more of a danger to me and my family than Al Qaeda over the last few years. And the "charity" money that the Mormons threw into Prop 8 (in the millions) was tax-exempt money.

Agreed. He certainly wouldn't be the first politician to do so. Governor Corzine (D-NJ) turned down his salary i 2006...he certainly didn't need it. It didn't help him win re-election though.

    A VERY interesting comment.

But maybe you can explain this to me, then...

Two years ago when Republicans won enough seats to take back congress. they said their "top prioirty would be jobs from day one."

But two years later, we've had 54 anti-abortion bills introduced by Republicans since January 2011. And not a single jobs bill.

So you tell me... with 54 Anti-Abortion bills in under 2 years... don't we have more problems to deal with right now?

And don't even get me started on how John Boehner has pissed away $1.5 MILLION on defending the DOMA, which has had a success rate of 0%.

    and... to answer your question...

Not if you're a woman who was raped and will die if she can't get her fetus aborted since it's started to develop in her fallopian tube. Because As Senator Aiken points out... if it was a "legitimate rape," she wouldn't have gotten pregnant so that slut wanted it... and Rep. Joe Walsh says we don't need a "life of the mother exemption" since that doesn't actually happen.... thanks to "science."

Ironic since Rep. Paul Broun says most science is a "lie from the pit of Hell.

So.. in closing... You're soaking in it.

ectopic pregnancies do not survive and any women presenting with that condition would need possible life saving surgery to remove it if it hadnt already self aborted... not to mention a ruptured fallopian tube is a medical emergency. i see this as separate to the 'traditonal' abortion issue.
