Wow, it's not that bad at all...In Arnhem there were at least the same amount of people if I am not mistaken...so there is another one and a half month to speed up the sales

Yes but it's not that important, they can change the size of the venue easy because its a park. I've been to gigs at the goffert park when there were 20.000 people and sometimes there were almost 60.000. But just the same fun so don't worry. actually 30.000 is better than 60.000.

i so agree. The concerts that go beyond the 60.000 crowd are veeery big-scale, and sometimes it doesn't work well for everyone. I've been to 80.000-people concerts in stadiums and it's managable, cause half the people are in seats. But if it's 80.000 on the same ground, it's not that good fun...
All that of course, is for the die-hard fan, who wants to be as close as possible and hear as much as possible. For the rest that just want to go have some fun at a big concert, i guess they wouldn't mind being the 80.000 person in the back of the park, drinking beer. I however, want to be able to grab Eddie's guitar pick :D
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...

Is it true that the support is Incubus and Kings of Leon or is it just a strong rumour?

Satellite Party, Incubus and Kings Of Leon is an amazing supporting lineup. It's gonna be a great day.

thats pretty good. cause that leaves pearl jam to play 2.15 hours. they have to finish at 11 by law. so for all you train taking people : there is plenty of time! no extra infoon extra trains yet, but that will b available within 2-3 weeks
I change by not changing at all.

I say bring on the fine! :D

I hadn't thought about it earlier, but with 3 opening acts, pretty good chances of some Pearl Jam members making appearances earlier on stage!

Here's a pointless post from me, but just wanted to continue the hype by sharing some of the reasons why i'm so excited about Nijmegen!

    1. It's Pearl Jam.
    2. If the sun stays out then we have a lovely outdoor show where we could watch the sunset and see the moon come out. What could be more beautiful than witnessing a Pearl Jam show with the sun setting!
    3. There's three pretty groovy opening acts. 'Hard Life Easy' by Satellite Party is just IMMENSE. (you can now listen to the entire album on their mypace!)
    4. I have 10c tickets and it feels great to be surrounded by fanclubbers!
    5. It's frickin' Pearl Jam.
    6. I like Pearl Jam a lot, i do.

I so agree with the outdoor thingy! I love outdoor concerts where you can see the day turning into night, makes a beautiful atmosphere. You can't have that on an indoor venue! My best concert memories have been the moments when the sun goes down.
I don't understand reasons 1 and 5, who the hell are Pearl Jam? :p:p:p

    so , 35 days huh? yipee! :)

It's great that everyone is just as excited. It'll really rub off on the band when they're onstage. To see everyone in the crowd with smiles on their faces will make them play so much better!

I don't even care what songs they play. I'm already getting to see them again when i never expected to so i'm a happy camper!
