Philly 5/28/06
In my opinion this was the best Philly show, even better than any of the 4 spectrum shows. Strong performance and awesome set-list... Opened with wash, throw in some satans bed,garden,whipping,porch...I remember the night like it was yesterday.

These stand out:
Hamburg 2000 ~ first time I saw them and I had no clue what to expect as I do now.. It blew me away completely and I've never gotten over it!
Copenhagen 2007 ~ First time back in Denmark since Roskilde and it had a weird intimate vibe that I've never experienced before
Berlin 10 ~ The Black-roskilde speech-come back-Alive part was the most powerfull thing I've been a part of with this band.. I was in the second row and as soon as Ed broke down, I did as well
Berlin 2 2012 ~ Best setlist I've experienced
Hamburg 2000, Berlin 2006, Copenhagen 2007, Berlin 2009, Berlin 2010, Berlin 1+2 2012, Copenhagen 2012, Amsterdam 1+2 2014, Vienna 2014, Berlin 2014, Prague 2018, Krakow 20180 -

Either 11/30/93 (my first) or 10/1/05...leaning toward 10/1/05...
WHY?
Driving to AC from Connecticut w/ fellow 10 clubber & Bruce fan...at the same moment during the drive we wondered "wouldn't it be cool if Ed opened w/ Atlantic City" as we were rocking out to it on the drive...
CHECK - Ed played it as a preset and it was magnificent!!!
--> Black & Tans made from Sierra Nevada & Guiness @ Metropolis -
Having Mike McCready walk past our table, laugh at all of our empties and tell us "be safe and have a great show!"
--> Mother preset w/ guys dressed up rocking out w/ SK
My buddy saying "I hope we get any other "mans" but Betterman"...it was played out for him...we get Leatherman and Nothingman
CHECK
Rarities/Covers = Don't Gimme No Lip, Bee Girl, Harvest Moon & Leaving Here
New tune = Gone
Present Tense opener...
Arguably, next to Orpheum & Benaroya - the most majestic Immortality ever performed...
A VIOLENT Spin the Black Circle to open Enc 2 - with a LEASH tease ('...drop drop droppin it down, like a LEASH yeah!")
RITFW w/ Ace Frehley (huge KISS & Ace fan here
)!!!
Hugging Ace in Metropolis @ 230 am...
The poster...
The crowd...
Oh yeah, and being 4 feet away from the band the entire show (literally front row) with the coolest fans...
This setlist has yet to be replicated...
MSG 2 2010 is another fave, but Borgata 2 gets the edge for me. A major awesome time, great small venue, tons of cool fans, different set...
Super great boot also!

Missoula, 9/30/12, because it was my first and only.
Also, I don't really know, but it could be the closest I ever get to the stage on a GA floor (or ever), so that was a lot more than awesome for my first time. I may have been spoiled at my first show... GA right in front of Mike sets the bar pretty fucking high right off the get go. It will be hard to move back into the rafters! But I am hoping that my best is still in my future, again and again!

Another good answer. Mine too!

Favorite show that I was at: MSG 2 2010. Not much more needs to be said! Being there made me feel like I was on top of the world. Too amazing! What a whirlwind of a 2-day period! Those were my first 2 PJ shows and arguably the best 2 days of my life.
Favorite show I didn't attend: Atlanta '94. I could listen to that boot over and over and over (and I do!) and never get tired of it. Band was spot on and you can feel the intensity! Best 'Indifference' ever, too!"Sometimes you find yourself having to put all your faith in no faith."

Gorge 05 is my absolute favorite:
We got an acoustic set before the main set. So much PJ! They weren't really touring for an album at the time eitehr. It ended up being a lost dogs kind of show. So many bsides, rarities, and covers mixed through the whole set (not just saved for the encores). The atmosphere was incredible. To think I'm almost didn't go because I had already bought Vancouver tickets when they announced it. Our seats were pretty good too. I think were row 13 dead centre which felt pretty close. They only had 1000 pairs of fan club tickets for that show so I ended up being about 10 rows close than I would usually be for a seattle show. I remember being much more dissapointed with my tickets at the 06 gorge shows
My 2nd favorite is Boise 2000. One of the must underrated shows from that tour. I caught the last 4 shows on the tour (Portland, Boise, and Seattle I and II). Boise was awesome. Not the craziest setlist ever (nor the longest), but the band and crowd were so into it that night. It didn't hurt that we scored row 6 floor tickets (So few fan club members went to the show my friend who was brand new in the club score row 6.. lol.... you could only have one pair per tour back then so we'd used mine for seattle and his for boise). I do remember being at Seattle II and remembering how hard the band was trying to recapture the magic of the boise show a few days before.0 -
Philadelphia - 10/3/05
Check this out: Wash, Brain of J, Sad, Alone, Faithfull, Whipping, Leatherman, Nothingman, Bleed for Me, Blood, Around the Bend, Harvest Moon, Hard to Imagine, Crown of Thorns, In My Tree, Sonic Reducer, Little Sister, Leaving' Here
This was one of the first shows I had attended where the setlist was truly out of control. A perfect combination of energy from the band, energy from the crowd, and a setlist that matched the occasion.
Honorable Mentions: Champaign 2003 (great vibe), Chicago II 2009 (seats were as far from the band as I have ever been and was able to just focus on the music - was great), Columbia 20080 -
One word MSG!! 5/21/10! Just because of the energy of the show! Twas magic! Too funny... On my way to see Blues Traveler practically in my owm backyard! Lol
