paradise island was nice, although not sure there would be enough to do there for a week.
Never have I done a cruise. Im not sure I ever will.
Something about being held hostage on that boat for 2-3 days at a time, until they let me on shore for 12 hours.....Just doesnt appeal to me.

beaches on the blanks of the mighty mississippi river are muddy and fucking nice for the whole mud facial bit you and your other half can give one another... & for free.
I've seen a lot of suggestions that look like they're easier to get to from the West Coast. I would highly recommend Puerto Rico if it's not a pain. Huge fan. I've been there twice and feel like I barely scratched the surface. Rain forest, hiking, bio bioluminescent bays, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, zip lining, casinos. Most folks speak english and are very nice. Weather is nice. Cell phone works. No passport needed. No currency exchange needed.

yeah? i've never gone away that week. always take off work though. and my wife is a teacher so it's a logical time for us...

we did charleston, sc in 2010....so awesome....not as warm as cayman, but still, run around during the day in a t shirt. it was also pretty tourist free...
did savanah in 2011. not as nice as chareleston, but still nicer than being in the freeze belt, although it was one of the coldest weeks of the year that week
anyways, christmas is high on my list of best times to vacation, but both sets parents have passed for us, so not much keeping us at home.

I'll second this. Went there for the first three nights of my honeymoon this year and just a great laid back and relaxing place.

5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
Took the wife..We tailgated, met some friendly folks, had a great time...
We also picked up 15 posters that I flipped for an average of $250...
It was a very nice weekend....
