I never did receive the poster. I just wanted to leave this conversation up for other members who might be thinking of buying/selling with this guy. Feel free to search that Fedex number he sent me. I wish I did receive that Honolulu Ames 06.

The lesson I learned, don't sent Paypal payments as gifts. Bottom line.

That's very strange indeed, I hope it gets resolved. Thankfully it sounds like the seller is responsive which is better than many of the recent cases I've seen where the seller just disappers without checking any messages.

I haven't heard any issues with FedEx or UPS but for anyone using USPS, I've found them to be much slower than usual with nearly everything I send out. I sent a poster to the UK from Dallas and it took around 6 weeks to arrive. I have sent numerous packages 1st class mail that take about 7-10 days to arrive domestically, which is twice as long as usual.

Good luck OP, I hope you get the poster soon.

Tracking shows FedEx never took receipt of package, so you can't blame FedEx.

I've only had pleasant experiences with Mark, this seems weird :(
  • I still don't understand why people send paypal as a gift. You are screwed when something goes wrong. Pay the 3% fee and have some piece of mind. I'm have a hard time trusting a seller that tells you to send as a gift.

Lessons learned in real life usually are more costly than the price of book learning.

This guy is not screwed. He is a meatball for posting my name especially when I sent him tracking. Hey Julio, send back the freebies I sent you. People are unbelievable. Thanks for contacting me and calling me out here. What a sh*thead.

Also, this was sent as a gift because it was a donation for a little girl that was dealing with some issues. I donated all the money I raised from my sale after hearing about her struggles.

    This will get sorted

There's no danger of that. Perhaps it was an oversight and Mark got tied up. But I'm
Sure he'll put this right. He's clearly talking to the buyer and he seriously wouldn't provide a bent tracking number and make that up...

Theres an explanation here I'm sure. I understand the buyer being pissed but Mark has a good name for a reason so I'm sure this will come good.

Also, let me state that I don't blame Julio for being pissed but I never avoided him. Just know that this will get cleared up in a few days and take me off that bad traders list :)

Also, thanks for the support from the people that know me. I wouldn't screw over anyone on this board or any other board. My track record shows that and the people I know are all well respected.
