Actually what the phrase 'get over yourself' means is that the other person

Why on earth would I want to fool Gimmie or you
and why on earth do you and he keep insinuating I'm lying?

    transparent ... it gets old.

Maybe Democrats just toss around the lying thing for just about everything ;)
I've been wondering about this, seems a a repetitive theme.

Would you say our President lies? Or is that exclusive to the party you do not favor?

I don't know, because trolls like to see themselves in print.

I don't know if he lies. I also don't vote down party lines. In Canada, I have voted for every major party over the last few elections, based on their performance and their promises and their believability. But Canada's political climate is not anywhere near the volatility level it is in the States. Sure, Conservatives and Liberals have their differences, but they are so much closer together than the Dem's and the Rep's it's not even close.

I don't even watch Canadian debates. They are a waste of my time. It's nothing but a cock fight.

Lying amongst democrats is a repetitive theme? Dear god woman, you say some doozies on here, but that is just plain stupid to say.

you say are one of the most honest posters on here??? i and many others think you are being disingenuous when you say that you are undecided. i think that you are looking for any reason whatsoever to justify voting for ryan and romney. i have seen you bash obama and now biden numerous times on these forums in ways that would make it seem inconceivable that you would even be remotely considering giving them "another four".

i would think that someone who is on here as often as you are, who apparently reads all of these threads on here everyday, and posts in all of said threads would have an idea of how they are voting.. you are either with obama or you are with romney. there has never been a more stark difference in any campaign that i have ever followed. you either want more moderate supreme court nominees that you would get from obama, or you want more scalia types that you would get from romney. you are either hot or cold, not lukewarm. what is to decide????

i do not understand undecided voters. i never will. do they like the attention of both candidates pandering to them? or is it the old "sheep" theory? people want to vote for a winner and they do not want to vote for the loser, or they wait until someone is running away with the election and they will vote for them to vote for the winner. just like how sheep flock together, undecideds flock to the side where the most voters are going.

frankly i don't care how they vote. chances are, if they do not know who they are voting for this late in the game that are low information voters, or they do not really care who wins. and no, i do not know what it is like to be torn. i know the issues and i know who would be better for the country. that's it. i will not allow myself to be put into a postion where i am torn. that is why i do my due dilligence before entering any voting booth.

biden went into this debate to say things that obama could not say. he was there to do the dirty work of the president. and biden did a fantastic job of hammering ryan and romney on most topics. and contrary to popular belief, the vice presidency is actually pretty important. the vice president is the deciding vote if the senate is tied 50-50. i know who i trust to make those deciding votes and who i don't trust to make those votes.
You seem to pretty much always respond to me.

Have you also heard my words about the praise for our President?
Have you heard that I believe our Presidents need
more than four to get the job done?
That I wonder about rocking the boat now with an administration change?

Well I'm glad you are honest and say you do not understand Independent voters.
We are the middle of the road with mixed beliefs that fit neither party,
we are without bias for either side.
Our voting record is neither red nor blue. Funny I think the people who follow
the color are the sheep. Its those damn red and blue glasses.
Vote for the winner really? thats funny cause as an Independent I have not always been so lucky,
have you as a true blue baaaa?

Have you ever voted for a Republican? You say you know what is better for the country
is that always a blue, or most always blue?
So then it has nothing to do with being informed it has to do with party lines.
So try not to act superior to those who are actually unbiased towards both parties.

Biden was a rude jerk. The split screen showed tactics of a desperate man who
couldn't rely on good basic information to try to conquer his opponent.
His tactic was to distract ...
    hmmmm
come to think of it is that what the White House has done about
    our most recent tragedy?

some people vote down party lines no matter what that party's platform is. that's what you call sheep. there are others who generally fall in line with the philisophies of one party or the other, as I said before, since the parties are usually so different. calling someone biased because of their personal belief system is ignorant, not to mention incredibly hypocritical based on your posts in theological topics.

people who are undecided at this point generally fit into one of these two categories:

    1) uninformed
    2) uninterested

no one ever makes these threads about you except you, Pandora. I have added much to the topic. Next time I'll just say "that politician was mean", so as to placate your political playtime.

How is making an observation about the state of american politics insulting and rude to americans? I think it's pretty obvious to anyone that the parties in the states are way farther apart on policies than canadian politics.

Read my post. I never said Canadian POLITICS is a waste of my time. I said the DEBATES are. I didn't watch either of the american debates either. As I said, I think debates are a waste of time. I watched Clint at the RNC because I was switching channels and it was on, so I kept it there.

And saying I'm rude to Americans is baseless and stupid.

But, if you make your choices based on a TV sideshow, judging people in less than 2 hours based on an interruption, a hesitation, a frown or a smile, a drop of sweat too many falling from the forehead, etc - that is up to you.

As far as I am concerned, policies, their credence, how they plan to achieve these and the impact of these proposed policies are my point of reference for choosing a president.

But to each their own. Again... moving on....

    too funny...
tough to justify bad behavior :fp:
he acted like a wacko on purpose to distract those watching from listening to his opponent,
not once or twice but continuously throughout the debate.

Again we know if Ryan behaved like this towards Biden he'd be attacked by the blues
    but they won't admit that.

Exactly. This is not where you will get any valid info about either candidate/party. If you want to inform yourself on policies and such you go elsewhere.

A show, and a poor one too. Target the 'masses'. Content does not matter.

How our elected officials treat another human being is very important.
Showing consideration, integrity, fair play, good sportmenship,
these come into play in these debates.
Some just don't get how important that is I guess.
This is added of course to where they stand on policy.
Interaction in the world arena is very important,
this speaks volumes to who that person is and what is going on inside their head.
Biden showed little if any good qualities and if he treats others like he did Ryan
he should not be representing in our second in command position.

But again for some people good qualities are not as important as to others.
