If they play the Gorge then I will be happy to save money on tickets and merch. Once was enough and not worth the six hour round trip drive.

    Six hours? ha, ha,
I've spent more hours in a pub having a few. I would drive for a day or two to do it again.
    Bring on the Gorge!

Flew from New Brunswick to Calgary to meet a friend. We then drove for 9 hours to see Tool at the Gorge with no regrets. I would drive cross country if I had to in order to see Pearl Jam play there.

Well worth any drive to get there.
Longest drive I did to the Gorge was when I lived in Edmonton.    I was living on Vancouver Island which is maybe 7.5 hours to the gorge (ferry & driving).    Then I moved to Edmonton after I bought the '06 tickets and we decided to go any ways.  Drove straight south to the southwest corner of alberta, back into the corner of BC, through Idaho and entered Washington state from Idaho.   That was a long ass drive.   We split up the drive there (stopping on Sandpoint, Idaho), but we did the drive back all in one long shot.  I think it was something like 12 hours.  Probably the longest drive I've ever done for a PJ show and worth it just to hear/see them play Dirty Frank :)

Did the same drive from Calgary this year. It was long! We wanted to do the Going to the Sun road on the way back through Montana but it was still snowbound unfortunately.

The Highway to the Sun is very scenic.  I'd recommend doing it once.    I haven't gone on it since we got thoroughly searched going over the Alberta/Montana border crossing just north of it.    In the summer it's full of tour busses and that take up 1.5 lines of a two narrow lane rd.  you feel like you're going to tumble off the cliff :)

I'm in...Definitely sounds like something I could work in with a trip to Glacier maybe. Yellowstone was only about a 23 hour trek. After 18, it doesn't really matter does it???

While I would prefer Red Rocks, you can add me to the list. I'd love for them to see them at the Gorge.

Just moved to Seattle a few months ago. Planning on catching Guns N Roses there on Labor Day Weekend. Can't wait to see it. Would love to see PJ there. Add me to the list.

Man, 3 months since last request for a show (or 3) at the Gorge this summer. It's been a dozen years, time for a return this year, pretty please, with sugar on top!!!!

Someone mentioned in another thread that there are rumors Key Arena will be undergoing renno's in 2018.  That would only leave the gorge or Stadium shows :(   I vote for the Gorge :)

*I don't count white river amphitheatre.   I only ever saw one show there (lolla '03) but it's a lot of single lane road/highway to get there and impossible to leave.   It's an ok venue, but when you have the Gorge, why bother :)

Rumoured Safeco shows hopefully will not kill a chance at the Gorge.

It's weird.  At the 2006 gorge shows, the first one sold out no problem, but there were lawn seats left for the second one (maybe because the 2nd one was a sunday night).   The last few shows at key have sold out in -1 seconds.    I'm not sure where Seattle demand is at this point.... Probably high.....

I want the gorge... but if lots of people want to see them play in Seattle, safeco has better capacity for it :(
