 Wow. I always thought he was a straight up class act. Yikes.

I have bought everything he has ever released and seen every act he has been a part of, and I was pissed when the show ended last night. I can't even imagine how the people felt at the Saturday show. Last night my girlfriend and I took a cab back to my place, watched multiple tv shows and went to sleep before a Bruce show would even finish .
What TV shows...that's the question 8-)

end of the Giants game :x
    Locked Up- always entertaining
    Louie- needed a good laugh

Oh, and OP, all White Stripes albums should be listened to before anything else. Just start at 1 and go through 6.

Well great show Friday in Boston.
You must have been on the floor, because it sounded like total shit every where else in that building (I know because out of sheer desperation I spent the whole evening searching for ANY place to stand that sounded halfway decent).

I will never ever ever EVER see another live show at the Aganis Arena in Boston. My ticket money was totally wasted. I wished I hadn't gone and just hung on to my memory of seeing him in Amsterdam at the Heineken music hall.

I could tell that the performance was good, but the house sound system was the absolute worst I've ever heard anywhere.

One set of PA speakers hanging high on either side of the stage, cranked too loud in order to fill a college hockey arena. The only thing that was produced was loud muddy noise. I couldn't understand one lyric.

Imagine the worst sounding bootleg on PJ radio, crank the bass all the way up, the treble all the way down and put the speakers under a coffee can, this would have sounded better.

    FUCKERS!

I'm not sure if it's the venue man. Sounds like there are a few people complaining about the sound. I saw him at The Shrine in L.A., front and center in the balcony, and the sound was horrible. It was WAY to loud on top of that even to Jack's standards I would say. Five songs in it was ear plugs and alcohol for us. That made it a little better. Good performance though.

Seconded. I rarely listen to the last 2 albums, but they're worth getting.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Get Behind Me Satan is just about the best thing Jack White has done imo. Love the diversity.

I love the first 5 albums, and really like the last one :)

I just bought the 1st 3 WS albums so I'm just getting into them and him. I've had Blunderbuss since it came out. I was listening to a Philly radio station yesterday talk about the Radio City incident. Then they started talking about a rumor that he won't play Philly because of something that happened at the Trocadero 5-6 years ago. Anyone heard of this?
    Alright, alright, alright!

I caught his set last night, and was one of the best sets I've ever seen. Was way heavier than when I saw him with the girls over the summer. Might not have been **better** but was way different. Definitely check him out if you can. Also - don't be concerned with the length of the set. 90 minute set was perfect, it's a sledgehammer of a set.

If you have a chance, go see him live. That's the best way to approach the beast.

His concert is so damn good!

Yes, he has been playing about 75 minutes. Sound seems to be a problem with this tour all around.
Saw him with the Raconteurs and it was fabulous.
My friend was at Saturdays show and he lost a lot of fans that night. They were offended by his behavior and now see him as a total dick, no matter how good his music is. They were returning merch. I mean how bad is that when you go back and return your t-shirt???

He played an hour and a half in Montreal, Seattle was about that too... Both shows where I was standing sound wasn't an issue, but I can't speak for everybody in the venue.

Sound wasn't an issue in Montreal. It was so loud! Earplugs were a good idea.

And I most say that his band (the boys band) was terrific too.

Really, if you have the chance, go see him in concert. I bought is CD and after listening it, it is so flat compare of the live version
