He decides to tape an appearance on The View rather than meet with international leaders one on one. Don't worry. There's nothing going on in the international community of any importance right now.

Wait. Nevermind. Folks didn't elect him for what he can do anyway. So, this is probably good for him. Style over substance at all times.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

This is something they have to earn.

What's funny about this is, if he stated that they were our ally, then everyone would be shouting, "he's in bed with the Muslim brotherhood!! He wants to 'muslimize' America!! Sharia Law!!"

Man, people are pathetic in their reaching attempts. Sad and disgusting.

so Pres, was the attack on our embassy the result of a protest gone bad? Last I heard, there wasn't even a protest when the terrorist attack happened on 9/11/12 and we lost four Americans including our ambassador.

World leaders meet at world summits. When they meet, they shake hands. (You know, like Rumsfeld and Saddam; sometimes they hold hands, like Bush and the Saudis).

Keep posting that picture though; your credibility grows stronger every day.

Seriously though, don't you have a Jerry Springer episode to tape.
  • at least he is not clearing brush....

Let's get back on track - you're happier he's talking to Joy Behar than meeting with world leaders? That's acceptable to you?
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
  • Shake hands, bow down. Shit, Barack Hussein Obama does it all!
Even apologizing for America in Cairo!

    Woot!

    Exactly...
What will be funny is what will he and a few others here do when Obama does win in less than 45 days?
Sit in their homes and be Mr. Tough Guys behind their keyboards...
Complain instead of volunteer for a cause...wonder if usama or edson are actually helping Romney's cause by helping the campaign, or just turning off voters with their tired shtick...
Hey fellas : as of this morning the President is polling above 50% in Florida and Ohio, two swing states that can decide the election.
Seriously, just ignore them. Funny to see "not good for obama" - the biggest mistake these guys are making is soothing their egos by saying the President is dumb, just lucky, blah blah blah- The President has outsmarted Romney from day 1!

    I'm not desparate for anything.

I've been saying all along Obama's going to win. I've also said, I personally do better under Obama and folks being out of work. Makes getting work done around the house by high quality folks MUCH cheaper. Interest rates are low, so I can leverage my equity even more.

So, have at it. I'm just trying to explain why he's a bad option for the country at large. And being derelict of duty when the Middle East is aflame seems unbecoming a President. But, I'm fine with that, too. Barbara Walters needs to feel important and the like. She used to be a significant journalist, but somehow ended up on a couch between Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg. Does she go home every night and go WTF have I done to my legacy?

(And if you didn't get it, this was a poke at another thread, and actually meant to point out the absurdity of it all)
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Not sure what he will be doing but i'll be shaking my head at the Obama supporters celebrating as though they have actually "won" something.

We will still be in Afghanistan, Israel will still get a pass to treat Palestinians as second class citizens, Bibi will still be dictating to Obama about how he should handle the situation, the Country will still be broke and there will still be a push to start a war to prevent a war in Iran (how crazy is that shit?).

Innocent civillians will still be getting slaughtered in Syria while the world sits and watches. If it keeps up soon Assad won't have anyone left to rule.

Oh well. I guess you can all be proud of his Peace Award.

A vote for Obama is a vote for all these things so many here apparently disagree with. Congratulations!

Why our President gets reelected, if he does, will not be because he did a great job though,
things are barely better if at all, most especially for the middle class and small business.
So those rejoicing in this ... is this a good thing? Is it of pride for a job well done
or is it party loyalty, is that counterproductive in itself?

Why did Obama get elected in the first place?

Who is voting to keep him in and why?

When was the last time we had a one term Pres?
meaning can a Pres even get the job done in one?

If Obama is reelected, even in this economic state,
what does this say about the GOP candidate? Who will be their's in 2016?

Most especially in another four will things be just as bad? Worse??

Will we face more unfulfilled promises
and choose a GOP candidate then, just as recent years are proving the trend,
each party with eight then switch?

Is this a sign of great dissatisfaction, failure in our system?

I know one thing, in my little world, I'm going to have some incredibly pissed off young people
around me, pissed off at the new taxes they are facing in January
when they can barely make ends meet with their take home pay now.

I'm going to be in the same boat as my customers, many are also small business owners
trying to keep the doors open to provide for those workers being overly taxed.
Being overly taxed themselves so they can not provide new jobs or won't.

Things are going to get worse with more taxes ... it should be less taxes. :wtf:
what do voters not get about that?

Opposed to a vote for Romney which will see:

    1) The loss of a second ten-year war in Asia.
    2) The rich not paying taxes (at any level) and being the example of buying elections with impunity.
    3) The middle class continuing to be impoverished.
    4) The working classes continuing to be unemployed and uneducated.
    5) US consumers still not being able to afford or consume the products they no longer make.
    6) Our economic policy = printing money and handing right over to the banks.
    7) A continuation of the education system being shredded by cutbacks caused by falling tax revenue.
    8) A platform of destroying the environment = drill, baby, drill!

    Questions:
    1) How will Mitt fix the current deficit? - we can agree this mess was created by GW Bush, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove, right?
    2) How about jobs??? Romney's so-called "turnaround artistry" involves an awful lot of outsourcing and shutting down companies and extracting profits. That makes him a job destroyer, not a job creator, right?

Please note - and this is important:
I'm not a huge fan of Obama, I just think he's the least bad option. The record shows that the previous Republican administration totally mismanaged the US economy and plunged the nation into an unnecessary, expensive, protracted war with Iraq that has only benefited Iran. The Republicans handed the Democrats a complete mess and are trying to blame them for it. You really think the people who broke the country are now going to fix it? I for one don't.
The fact of the matter is Obama was in trouble from the get go...he had to follow arguably the WORST President in US history (George W Bush) and four years of a do nothing , put barrier & obstacles up Republican congress whose avowed intent from the day President Obama took office was to make him a one term president regardless of the cost to the country.
Romney and Ryan scare the heck out of me.

    How do you KNOW this?

I KNOW what Obama has done. What you've just listed are what you conjecture. There is no proof to what you are saying. Harry Reid could derail anything Romney desires (Assuming he even desires what you are saying which is beyond laugable - it's your OPINION). So, aren't there other possibilities?

And, BTW, most of what you have written (item 6!!!!) is Obama's policy!!!!!
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

    a) I'm assuming you watched the Convention and read up on news cycles & Romney/Ryan soundbites...right? If so, you CLEARLY have seen they talk about fixing things by cutting business taxes to fund deficit reduction, cut government programs for the poor and reduce taxes on the rich. In addition they want to massively increase Defense spending and re-regulate financial markets... This sounds like a recipe for disaster. (Remember W post 9/11????)
That's how I KNOW this, good sir...

    b) It is NOT Obama's policy, yet what he is working through and trying to FIX.

C'mon, get real for 1 second...slow down your venomous hatred for our President and the Democratic party. This man (Obama) inherited an economic catastrophe. Plain and simple.
