Porch all the way. Still pretty bummed that I haven't seen it live at any of my 3 shows (same holds for RVM, which is awesome in its own right, but Porch to me is just the perfect main set closer).

No matter when I hear RVM, it takes me back to different places where I put negative moments of my past behind me, allowing me to be more enlightened and free within myself. RVM wins for me.

I've seen both close out the first set but I think an extended version of RVM beats out Porch by a nose hair.

What do you think is the better first set closer?

I have seen both as set closers, RVM 05, Porch 11, I like better RVM, but Porch is a better closer to me, but I don't get many shows in my country, so I would like to have both in any part of the show...

RVM and Porch both live would make an awesome 45rpm...

  • Well, last two shows they've played both!

  • I agree - RVM by a tiny little nose hair.

I love the build up of RVM and the frenzy it always sends me into.

They both have the F*CK word so they are both awesome. (yep low standards)

    1991 - 1995 = Porch
    1996 - Toss up
1998 - current day = RVM jam and double ending w/ strobe lights

Porch from 92-94 is pretty much king of ALL things PJ, in my book.
