I would assume Ed just sees the republican party as a threat to the USA and/or he just supports Obama...so he is lending his support to see that the candidate he favors gets reelected. If you're passionate about a cause, dont you support it however you can?

One of the reasons Plant might be so low on the list is due to him selling some of the songs he's written in the early 80's. Sell those rights and you don't get any continuing residual monies once they have been sold. This after he refuses to reform Led Zeppelin to tour with John bonham's son on drums. They do have a dvd coming out of their concert they played a few years ago.

Axel apparently lives very frugally out west in the desert.

I thought Springsteen would be worth way more...but so far he really doesn't gouge the fan at box office...saw him on his latest tour and didn't pay more than 50 after taxes and service fees and don't think any tickets were on sale for more than 100-120.I have certain rules I live by ... If Eddie was to be at some independent rally, people on here would say he's throwing his vote away and what a tool he is. Then if he was at some rep rally, they'd say he is a war lover and waht a loser he is. So here we are at the same guy and maybe party (remember you yanks you get a whole two choices, which makes Ed have to choose one
)that he supported last time and still he is a loser. I guess the guy can't win. But wait, what would his fans think of this. I bet he dosen't really care.
