    What most of these preppers that brag about stockpiling supplies don't realize is that me and everyone else is just gonna come kill them and take their shit when we need it. Thanks for spending the money and taking the time though, me and my sniper rifle appreciate it.

    Totally agree with this post. The preppers show is hysterical to me. Guy A tells the world via TV about all the crap he has stored for dooms-day. He also discloses the exact location of where all his crap is and how to get to it.

    Very wise, Guy A... very wise.

    Don't you think it would be smarter to not say anything about it? Isn't the point of having a gun to ward off those who will try to grab your stuff? Isn't the point of having a super-secret hide-out, the fact that it's 'hidden'? Then their off bragging about it. It's kinda funny.

    I do think there's reason to be prepared given our economic environment and what the Fed is doing to our currency - maybe invest in a bit of precious metals, plant some food and have a bit of canned food on stock.. and... maybe, just maybe if you're so inclined have a hunting gun. I do think shit could hit the fan - economically and it could be ugly in "certain places". But, I do not think living underground for years on end will ever be necessary.

    In a thread about martial law we are debating, among other things, possibly preparing for it by purchasing supplies- some have mentioned guns- and every person cited their purposes as being for either self-protection, or hunting.

    I dunno, I guess I was just baffled, so I did some digging. I see why some people are freaked out about some things. But when they claim they're going to do this for population control? I cant imagine thousands of people agreeing to do that kind of thing, aside from Nazi Germany. And I keep seeing comparisons to Nazi Germany when I research the stuff. I guess my point is, that there are all sorts of walks of life and we can believe what we want, because some of us are going to take it for what it looks like, and others are going to dig a hole and wear a fucking bearskin robe and eat spam for a few months...but live and let live...
