My hair is a reddish brown and whatever colour I put on it, it is a reddish brown (maybe a bit more red or purple or whatever, but still reddish brown!) I bet you your clients expect this from you. Loads of my are 'creatives' and their clients wouldn't expect them to look 'normal' (except this one bloke who is design manager in a large multinational - suit & tie and no earrings for him!)

Yeah... a lot of them expect it - and require it... they love getting their 'wacky' designers into a meeting. The main problem is that my big clients are big mutli-nationals like Vodafone, Nokia and EMI - sometimes they have a problem with it but I've always got away with it :D

not just any plane though... make sure it says London above it...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • Yeah, i swear,if i can't find one, ill be swimming the canal this night ;)

Wouldn't want to end up in Scotland (though I've got nothing against Scotland or the Scots!)

I wish you the best of luck. Get down as early as you can 'cos as you can imagine, there's gonna be quite a few people there in the same predicament. (Actually, thinking about it, hasn't DaveUK and the other fella got 2 spares?)

i think he/she means if they can't find a plane.. then they'll go by canal.... i presume he/she have a ticket... but i'm intrigued as to what he/she was going to do with aforementioned ticket, if indeed they had one, and couldnt make the gig??

I don't wanna get anyone's hopes up as I don't know for sure, but Dave said he'd 2 tickets coming his way which he was gonna sell on for about £125 each. But head to the Royal George early - i.e, 2pm, 3pm or thereabouts - and you may get lucky.

It's a great place to be BUT NOT TOMORROW!! Actually, after 15+ years in this country, I've never been to Scotland. Always have a tendency to go find some sun for the holidays (or be stuck with 'family' duty during half-terms, etc. with two sets of parents wanting to see their grandchild!). Never been to Ireland either. This year we are definitely planning something "up north" so Scotland here I come (fortunately for the Scotsmen, my husband and daughter will be with me!)

Ah shit im not getting into london til 3:45, but I would GLADLY buy one for £125, reckon i should just pm him, or does anyone have his contact details? My initial plan was to queue rather than head to the george...

    thanks

  • Yeah i got tickets.. :D To be picked up from the astoria
I've been begging my teacher till the very last moment.if I was denied today i was to refund the tickets tonight. I guess keeping hopes up till the very last moment is rewarding. I just ordered a bus trip, wich is cheapest. I'll be arriving in london 6 in the morning tomorrow. guess that'll be early enough right? That should be time enough to find that pub, and be in a total delirium before enyone arrives i think.
