    well i arrived in Berlin a few hours ago..and just got set up at my hotel...first thing i did was get out at Alexanderplatz and grab some Dunkin Donuts! :)

    You also have to go to Kurfurstendam nice place to walk and lots of shops also there is a big Irish-pub with good beer...LOL...and a good Italian coffee shop aswell...

    I would say check out the Kulturbrauerei, there you have so many different venues and bars all in one place. Its really worth it.

    We're heading out to Berlin late Fri night and going back late Sun night. Flying from Newcastle, UK. Can't wait after seeing the boys in Dublin we had to see them at least once more!
    Is it right there aren't any seating/standing allocations??

    good point.

    i dont fancy standing in one place for 3 hours just to get a decent spot, id rather relax with a couple of beers. from anyone whos been to the venue before, how easy is it to get a decent spot (not rigtht at front) later in the evening before the headline band?

    see my post above and check it out you even can do a virtual tour about the seating places if ya wanna know witch spot is good....but i think no one will be seating when the venue sarts...LOL

    from what others here explained to me i understand that there are u number of people that wil fit in the pit/arena and when it is ful they just move the rest up to the seat/steps don't thing there are any seated places....please correct me if i am wrong;)
    so i am afraid that if you wanna get close you are gonna have to be there early!

    i will be entering the venue as soon as my tenc tickets allow! what i need to know is once im in the main standing area can i then go and buy a beer and get back in there?

    yea as long as im in the main section (grass area) i dont care and i can fight my way to the front a little but id like to be able to use the bar/shitter freely and remain in this area? anyone know if this is possible?

    yea one of those pictures ahows bench type seating, so they sold seperate seating and standing tickets for this show?
