I forgot all about that, but I definitely did not see anyone on stave with the band!
rumor has it, it was off to the left of the stage....
middle of the show i looked for it and couldn't find it.81 is now off the air

I was at the left of the stage and saw nothing. Weird. If they were there, not a single band member even looked in their direction or gave any indication that there were human beings there as far as could tell ... sounds awkward if they were actually somehow tucked away back there!81 wrote:PJ_Soul wrote:Hey... From where I was sitting, floor seats, right side,I could see folks chillin' on the side of the stage behind Mike. Maybe that was them? I just figured they were friends/family of the band and had totally forgotten about the contest. Anybody else see these people?
Cheers,

I didn't see anything either, though there were a couple folks off to the side behind Mike as someone else mentioned. I don't think those were very good seats. Mine were better and I was near the back.

I didn't see the actual recliners, but saw the winner was on the left side behind Mike. They were standing the whole show, so I assume, the recliners were behind them and you just couldn't see them. I at least saw Mike give them a nod and point a few times.
I was in 208, which was right corner of the arena so I could see that side of the stage pretty well.07-09-95 Milwaukee, WI (Summerfest) - 10-08-00 Alpine Valley Music -06-16-03 St. Paul, MN - 09-03-11 Alpine Valley Music Theatre -09-04-11 Alpine Valley Music Theatre - 09-30-12 Missoula, MT - 07-19-13 Wrigley Field - 11-15-13 Dallas, TX - 10-3-14 St Louis, MO - 10-19-14 St Paul, MN0 -
Sounds like a way better prize would have been a guaranteed spot on the rail.
Also sounds like this little contest was somewhat misrepresented. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0
