Mathematically it's strange the guy that started with 3 posts suddenly blows up tripling his post with something to say. That's improbable too??? Ok so you feel strongly about this and decided to find a voice
Also your arguments are only negative spin with no positive facts to back up your own wild improbable assumptions. But here is a fact, where is Jon Tester running for office???
Montana.
Where does Jon Tester spend the bulk of his money to campaign and get his message out???
Montana.
Where is the bulk of his exposure????
Montana.
So is it really that shocking that someone from Montana won????
Not really.
Is it worth his reputation and a political scandal to save $2500 on a plane ticket to rig a contest?

P.S. I'm not a troll, I'm just a human being that doesn't watch t.v. all day and use thirty-year old euphamisms like "jumping the shark."
Actually it is a 35 year old euphmism.
It would be interesting to find out how many people entered this thing. I would think at the end of the day Montana has as good a chance as any and would be in the top 5 states represented in the drawing since it was probably publicized a lot more in Montana, rather than just the PJ fan club for the rest of the country.
I don't know how many people attend the University in Missoula, but I bet a lot of them probably registered.
I guess it is not unreasonable to me that a Montana person won.0 -

Where do YOU live in Montana, fool? Because you are absolutely using no logic whatsoever. And, in my opinion, you're just a troll paid for to seek information, because nothing you say has anything to do with logic. You ask for the math? Do the math yourself, I'm not your slave. Think for yourself. Now, leave me and the rest of the people on this forum who have the ability to think for ourselves alone. You have no credentials whatsoever, just an opinion. And opinions are like assholes... everybody's got one.0 -

Jomary...
You are right... I have only posted in the Pearl Jam forum a few other times. I don't log on often and I don't use the forum as a form of social media like you seem to? I have used it for information and you are right... this particular concert is important to me and I have been following it and the contests associated with it. This experience has a personal element for me and my best friend in the world that I do not care to share with you, which is why even the thought that a part of the experience could be tainted is unbelievably disappointing to me.
In response to your most recent and long post, I will just ask the same type of questions to you:
Who benefits the most by having the BIG WINNER come from Montana?
Jon Tester.
Does Jon Tester have $2,500 to spare for plane tickets for a contest winner from out of state?
Not according to the daily pleas for money that I now get in my email and in the mailbox at my house.
And just to be clear to those who accuse this of being a conspiracy theory? It's not. I am accusing the Tester campaign of cheating.0 -

You are way out of bounds here dude.
You don't know the math. You don't know the numbers. You have no way to even begin to know the numbers. You know nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is fact. I'm not being argumentative. I am telling you facts.
But you have an opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.0 -

I think you are making too much of this. The Tester campaign is not going to win or lose because someone from California won the seats on stage.0 -
I dont live in montana, I live in Texas as it says in my info.
You did catch me though I made an assumption that since Tester is running for office in Montana he spends the bulk of his campaign advertising in Montana and has a lot of exposure in ...Montana, that was ridiculous I know.
Trust me I got all the Tester emails too so I can sympathize with annoyance at being hounded for money welcome to the new world of grass roots politics.

I have tickets to the show, early-entry wristbands, and I have paid the airfare, hotel, and rental car fees so I know what kind of money people are spending to attend this event. Where will you be? Sitting in front of your t.v. in Texas? I appreciate your input, but you're not going to be there. So what do you have vested in this other than your OPINION. As I said, opinions are like...

its pretty shady
the odds are not very likely, id bet there are 50 to 1 northeast to montana votes
while im not as up in arms, it does seem more likely that the winner come from i dunno, say 30 other states before montana'98: Camden 1 '00: JB2 '03: MSG1 '04: Boston 1 '05: AC1

Are we sure nycrats is going to the show, or perhaps he is going to be in front of his t.v. that night in New York City? I would just caution you on agreeing with him or her because you know how OPINIONS are.
I enjoy this thread. Keeping me entertained while at work.0 -

He actually IS going to be there! There's LOTS of assumptions made in this thread.
Yes it does seem shady, but we are talking about politicians so what did anyone really expect. Maybe it just worked out that way, I don't know, they didn't have a live lottery drawing for us all to watch or audit. I'd like to call bullshit on it because it takes little mathematical knowledge to assume that it's rigged, but I like to know facts before I just start doing that.
I'm going to be there too, and have spent a lot of money on the trip thus far, and I'm expecting it to be an awesome time. I hope you have a great time as well.0 -

This thread is a bunch of people playing the "jump to conclusions" game. You know, where you physically jump to conclusions.
I watch movies too!

Do you know what this thread says about us Pearl Jam fans??????
It tells me that no matter what the contest we always think there is a fix in. Weather it be 10 club lottery winners or a Lost dogs Give away seems we always have a post thinking the worst of things
But I too think the fix was in on this one. I mean come on it has to do with politics

I sure hope the winner knows what they won and enjoy it like one of us would.
Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...0 -
as always we assuming in the forum..its fun..
i know for sure about this "worldwide"contest ,that a guy from Montana will have more chances to win this than someone from Greece..
cos he needs to Drive to go to the show 10-20 min ,so why not to join the contest even for fun,and a guy from Greece need to pay 2000$ only for flights and be 24 hours at airports and air..."...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”0
