Oh man, there's a TV series about Rome on in the UK at the moment and the advert for it uses Philip Glass' Metamorphosis 2. Every time it comes on me and the wife just go all super gooey – it was the music we had at our wedding when signing the register and of course came from the intro to the shows we've been to together. Love those little moments when you feel PJ's influence in your life spring up in unexpected ways and it takes back to amazing times and places and emotions…even when its not even one of Pearl Jam's own songs! Love this band.

Being a Neil Young fan for many many years, and finally making it to Bridge in 2010. Seeing and hearing PJ for the first time is an experience I will never forget! I feel like I was given a very special gift that night, and each day I wake up I am grateful for this blessing in my life!

I responded by telling him they were playing 20 minutes away by train (at Rock Werchter) and he says to the girl with him, "oh wow. Honey, can we go please?" I didn't have the heart to tell him it was sold out.

going to warsaw next weekend to see some of the friends I've made on this tour...can't wait!
Looking back on all the times I've seen the band and realizing that one of my most memorable road trips was September 21-23rd 1996. I was going to see the band play in Toledo, Ohio at Savage Hall for my second time with a group of buddies. Then it dawns on me... I'm seeing the band next weekend on a trip from September 21-23rd 2012 in Atlanta!
If someone would have told me back in 1996 at the Toledo show that I would see the band on this same weekend 16 years from now I would have laughed in their face!
I guess I need to be more positive.

I was driving around today, and I happened to turn on WMMR. I usually am listening to my PJ boots in the car, but decided to take a break and listen to the radio instead. Just as I tuned in, the deejay announced that they were doing a block of PJ!! They started out with the live Wishlist from the last Spectrum concert in '09, then played RVM, Given to Fly, Jeremy, and Just Breathe. I was very very happy!!
