    I knew someone who had a cocaine addiction. Went to the Scientology addiction program and got cleaned up. Great. Then he realized he didn't like Scientology and wanted to leave. They called him, called him constantly, at all hours. Sent letters. Sent people to "talk" to him. Told him he was a loser, he was going to go back to cocaine, offered to get cocaine for him - obviously totally inappropriate behavior for any kind of addiction counseling.

    I never thought much of Scientology before this, but their behavior towards this guy made me totally hate them.

    My friend went back to cocaine, went to another (non Scientology) treatment place, got cleaned up again and has stayed that way for ten years plus.

    I've heard of stuff like this... incredibly fucked up.

    And here we are arguing and crushing Christianity (not a fan)... but, really, that is some fucked up stuff.

    i'm not, i would put forth a intrest in the idea that L Ron Hubbard had an idea on how and why we are the way we are and how to fix it.

    And I can do that too. Not that I'd start a religion... or one that harasses its followers like that if they choose to leave.
