Legoland :fp: thats right by the office. If you eat near legoland, seasons52 or weber grill
If you want a drink with a view, i always suggest 95th floor at the hancock. Food is over rated, but worth the elevator ride for a drink. Beyond that, lots of good places in the city. Several threads around here on the topic
Mmmmm, I do like Weber Grill. We're staying close to Navy Pier, hitting off Legoland last on Monday before we head back. Probably try to find some local places on Sat & Sun, Gino's East yay or nay? Enjoy Philly!
There is a weber doemwn near navy. Gino has a strong following. I always go lou malnati thou. Can't go wrong with most pizza places around here
I went to a crap ton of amazing shows (17!!) that were by and large the highlight of the summer, it rocked and kept me sane! The times spent with friends were also fantastic, per usual, and also kept me sane! Other than that it was meh, nothing too spectacular. Didn't even get to the beach once

Summer went way to fast for my liking. I hate seeing it come to an end :( DEPRESSING!!! I loved that it was hot though. Spent lots of time reading and swimming. Highlight was going to Cape May for the night with the husband. Work was busy, but it's about to get busier  How many days till Memorial Day weekend?

It has been a good summer. Planted and worked a big garden and grew lots of vegetables (tomatoes are still waiting to be canned, and I don't even know what to do with all the habaneros grown on plants someone gifted me), took a short trip to NYC, and to Burlington, enjoyed the sun, made Indian sun lime and lemon pickles, cleaned the house because house guests came, and am now returning graduate school - it feels like jumping off the high dive but it is what I want. It was good and hot, and I really tried to enjoy summer, so I don't feel quite so bad as I normally do, about it starting to slip away.

Like most summers--it had its ups and downs.
Up: PJ in Manchester, meeting some cool PJ peeps, and the travels afterwards.
Down: Dealing with my mom's health issues.

I had a wonderful summer, lots of fun with my kids and days filled with family and friends... I always get a bit down when summer is over, mostly because my kids go back to school and we are in a school routine.
I just hope for a mild winter like last year - please give me a mild winter !!!!
