So did ya have fun?
Did you make the BEST of it?
Where did you go?
What did you do?

And what was THE BEST thing you did all summer? What was the ONE memorable thing you did this Summer?

I had a GREAT Summer..Lots of swimming, lots of biking. We went camping (only once though)...
Plenty of Summer grilling.
Did lots and lots of fishing in June..

All in all it was a Great Summer...

I worked voluntarily for MOm (The Hellenic Society for the Study and Protection of the Monk Seal) for 15 days in a Greek island called Alonnisos. Lots of swimming and bicycling. Learned some interesting new things. Got to know some interesting and beautiful people (volunteers, tourists and natives) and taste some delicious and new for me foods. After all this, I'm still alive! :D

    I lost weight and I read a book. :D

I'm so ready for fall, though. This hot weather can kiss my arse.

Summer flew by! It's hard to get used to the way school starts BEFORE labor day now.

Luckily, this summer was a particularly good one. :D

this summer was pretty stressful. we were packing at the beginning of it, had some family drama (that's still going on...ugh), then renovated my wife's grandmother's house, packed some more, then we moved. now i'm unpacking.

this was the summer of boxes for us.

it wasn't all bad, though. great times with family & friends & we're here where we want to be.

Our summer goes into December here ;)

I moved out of a violent crime ridden neighborhood. Thats been the 2nd highlight of the last 7 years.

On a positive side, Had a nice trip to DC and a few down to the Florida Keys and Key West once.
    Some surfing and kayaking..
And my band just finished off the summer with a 25 band festival with the Misfits last saturday, and we're half way done with our first real studio CD.

And since November is still hot and summer-like, finally getting to see EDdie solo show!

That's pretty much how I feel about this summer for the most part, it has sucked. I haven't had time to do much except work and work and work some more. Thankfully I did get one week of vacation for my wife and I to go to Puerto Vallarta for our 10th anniversary, that was a blast! :D Going to Chicago this weekend for a mini-vacation.

Great timing huh? Taking our daughter to the Shedd aquarium, Science museum, Navy Pier, and Legoland. She's been saving up her allowance to buy a new lego set so she's excited. What kind of restaurant recommendations do you have for me?

Legoland :fp: thats right by the office. If you eat near legoland, seasons52 or weber grill

If you want a drink with a view, i always suggest 95th floor at the hancock. Food is over rated, but worth the elevator ride for a drink. Beyond that, lots of good places in the city. Several threads around here on the topic

Mall by legoland also has a lego store. I think they also sell discounted tix. Woodfield mall if you want to google

Mmmmm, I do like Weber Grill. We're staying close to Navy Pier, hitting off Legoland last on Monday before we head back. Probably try to find some local places on Sat & Sun, Gino's East yay or nay? Enjoy Philly!
