Made In America Parking

I would just make sure to have a print out of your hotel reservation info., then you should be able to get into the closed off area to get to your hotel. I would think..."McCready played on, lending credence to the theory that he was actually built in Stone’s basement from spare truck parts and vinyl records." - Glide Mag. review of MSG 7/8/030 -
Ideally, it would be nice to park and take the shuttle from the Mann Center, however I am concerned that it is going to be a nightmare if you don't catch one of the first shuttle runs and traffic picks up after the festival AND Bruce.
I was thinking about bypassing the road closures by getting off at the Girard Avenue exit and making my way toward some of the garages around the festival site. Hopefully the earlier I get there, the better.2009: Philly 3 & 4

+1...still not sure where we"ll be parking. The shuttle is an idea but not sure yet. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks guys and have a blast tonight!0 -
I live in Jersey but work in Philly. I am driving in around 3, and parking in Old City at the Ritz parking garage. Its a safe neighborhood with 24hr parking, and will probably be pretty empty on a Sunday night. Then we are grabbing a good beer at Eulogy before being stuck with InBev's menu, and grabbing a cab. Feel free to join us for a Belgian before some Run DMC!0

The shuttle from the Mann looks like the best option so far, since I'll be coming down 76. Anyone know how much?
Also, what time is everyone getting there? I want to get a good spot up front for PJ, but don't want to be standing there all day.0 -
On bestparking.com saw a lot on Spring St btw Race and Vine offering parking for $5.00 for 12+ hrs.Blockbuster Center-8/28/98,E-Centre-09/02/00,Spectrum-04/28/03,PNC Arts Center-07/14/03,Borgata-09/30/05,Philly-10/03/05,Continental Arena-06/01/06, Susquehanna Bank Center-07/19/08,MSG-06/24/08,Spectrum-10/30/09,10/31/09, MSG-06/21/10,MIA-09/02/12,Philly-10/21/13,10/22/13,Philly-04/28/16, Freedom Mortgage Pavilion-9/14/220

Had my reservation printed off and ready to show but the Philly cops were actually really nice. Just had to go down to 20th and take a left (which apparently isn't a legal turn, but no one stopped me), then a left onto Hamilton. MUCH easier than I anticipated2006: Boston I, Camden II
