I never made fun of the beard and other then it covering stuff up can appreciate the thing.

I am disgusted that PJ has decided to use Chinese retailers to produce their products. Then they openly announce that more stuff should be made in the USA.

This is a terrible double standard and EVERY member of the band should be aware of things like this....

I didn't purchase it and am not a part of any clique in here...

I know exactly what is implied and I know that there is a jackal pack of apologist as there is a group of people ready to pounce on any odd thing.

I don't agree with everything this band does, and am finding it difficult to defend anything they do.

I think several people have stated that they enjoy the music, perhaps this is as deep as my future too needs to be.

Because I can't believe in people who openly insult me, my intelligence and my loyalty.

THANK YOU 10C!!!!! I believe that this whole thing was blown out of proportion by the fans, but 10C seized the moment to make this "right" (NEVER thought it was wrong), so congrats. Thank you for taking the time to read what many individuals bitched about, and then changed it.

1 jacket and 3 stickers later I am now $100 poorer. I know some people don't care for it, but I have a thing for jackets and will get lots of use out of it.

    Thanks Ten Club :D

  • Is everybody on board for paying more for gear if made in the USA versus China? I think we need to clarify this.

Why does it cost more to ship within the USA opposed to shipping from China. Ill pay another $5 knowing the work and money was kept in the USA. I am just so shocked that a band like PJ wouldn't care about some thing like that.

I know some things need to be made out of the country but Im sure we can manege to make a lumber jack jacket in the USA

I don't know why (well, cheap labor, lower benefits, longer work days), but based on the fact that just about everything is made in China it appears that it is much much cheaper.

I would pay $5 more a shirt for US made goods. But a lot people bitch (complain, not the 99 problems defnition) on here that shirts are too expensive so I thought before this argument gets too far, if people don't want to pay Made in America prices then they shouldn't bitch.

One thing about Americans is that they will complain no matter what. If you get one to stop complaining chances are some one will pick up right where they left off. Its just in our DNA now.

Can you clarify where the computer, tablet or phone you are posting from was made?

I'm not trying to start with you, but I think its easy to criticize the band for offering this jacket while ignoring all the other items we buy everyday that are made overseas.

I'm not criticizing the band. My question was more towards the people that are angry about the Made in China label. I just wanted to make sure they were okay paying higher prices for USA made goods. Because if they aren't, we shouldn't be arguing the issue if their (fans) pocket book comes first.
  • oh look, a lumber jacket! just in time for those oh so chilly australian summers
