so...... is this jacket no longer made in china? :?

I hope that is sarcasm and not a genuine question.

Maybe the jacket was made in China to support PJ's Chinese fans.....:lol::lol::lol:

Is everybody on board for paying more for gear if made in the USA versus China? I think we need to clarify this.

Can you clarify where the computer, tablet or phone you are posting from was made?

I'm not trying to start with you, but I think its easy to criticize the band for offering this jacket while ignoring all the other items we buy everyday that are made overseas.

I'm not criticizing the band. My question was more towards the people that are angry about the Made in China label. I just wanted to make sure they were okay paying higher prices for USA made goods. Because if they aren't, we shouldn't be arguing the issue if their (fans) pocket book comes first.

Sorry. I totally misread that. Good point.

Its a fair point though. All those complaining about the jacket being made in China - I bet they have other clothes and products made in China. So (to quote RNDM) whats the beef with the jacket being made in China?

Go check your PJ wardrobe boys and girls, you'll be surprised to see where your shirts are made. I have 8 or 9 shirts and only one was made in the USA. The others were made in Turkey (current PJ & EV tour shirts) and one was even made in Haiti.

  • ,i like the patch, cool design, but isnt my style of clothes,i find it expensive,im not buying it..

I don't think $90 is that exapnsive for a jacket. But it's not my cup of tea with that shiny fabric on the inside... Would have loved PJ to have more of an army jacket.

$90 dollars isn't that bad for a jacket when they are selling hoodies @ that same price.
I collect / buy all PJ but I just can't pull the trigger on this one.

whoa! Dimi not buying something PJ? :o

    :lol::lol::lol:

I kinda like the jacket, I just think $90 is spendy. Gimmie a 20% off coupon, and I WILL buy it.

I personally don't care that it's made in China. Like another person said, if it was 'Made in America', it would cost $120-140. Besides, If I bought it, I'm supporting a local business, and that's good enough for me.

Timmins is a small northern town in Ontario, alot of Rednecks. So if they were to go out for say some fine dining one night, you would probably see the locals wearing a jacket of very similar type and that is considered one of the finer pieces of clothing they own :lol:

    Awesome!
I would have to say that it would pass as a dinner jacket here too! I'll wear mine out for a night of fine dining as soon as Santos gets it in a box and out the door!

I really hope I got the sizes right.. I'm 6"1 and slim and if I'm right the xl is the best fit for me.. we'll see once it gets here.. if it's a tad big it's fine as long as it's not too crazy

Amen brotha! Would love to see a PJ army green ( or any other color for that matter)field jacket. I've seen a few other bands do it in the past. In fact I think Dave Matthews currently has one on their website that's pretty cool looking.
    New ideas for merch 10C!!!l

Why does it cost more to ship within the USA opposed to shipping from China. Ill pay another $5 knowing the work and money was kept in the USA. I am just so shocked that a band like PJ wouldn't care about some thing like that.

I know some things need to be made out of the country but Im sure we can manege to make a lumber jack jacket in the USA

I've never seen anything with synthetic fabric that was made in the U.S. Even from companies that are very committed to trying to have their product be exclusive American made. If anyone else has, please post a link.

Compared to the prices of other clothing on the Lifetime Collective website, $90 is practically free
