Great, you're right, but what do we do with this information? Vote for Romney?
Vote 3rd Party or write in Ron Paul.
I love that Guy, and will probably do just that, but not a lot of hope he can win.

You might see some surprises next week, I at least am really hoping so. He can be nominated from the floor, the GOP is doing everything they can to stop it, you should read up on all of the problems the National GOP is creating for the RP people. They are actually breaking their own rules that have been set for quite some time. For example a candidate that wins the plurality of delegates in five or more states is entitled to a 15 minute speaking slot. They tried to get the number changed to ten states, when that failed they just outright refused to let him speak.
This is the one guy that people should be behind, the ONLY one that wants to STOP WAR.

The no Miranda rights thing sucks but, yeah, I agree- this is not just a "current administration" thing. To classify it as such is just wrong.
Brian - I don't think anyone disagrees with that. But 2 things:
1) It doesn't matter what someone else would do. That's beside the point. So, because Murderer A (let's call him OJ) killed the same way as Murderer B, and OJ got off, Murderer B should get off? That's such bizarre logic. So, whatever this administration has done should be blamed on this administration. What others did or would have done is beside the point.
2) I thought Obama was supposed to be better than Bush? So folks that hate Bush are admitting he's the same? That's even more bizarre. Haven't those folks been bashing Bush? If so, how do you not join the OP in bashing Obama if this is something Bush, Ashcroft, Cheney and the Devil would have done?
I think someone's head just exploded.
1) Your logic does make sense, Edson, I'm just not sure this is a partisan issue the way it's made out to be. But I'll grant you, I could be wrong seeing as my head exploded!
2) I think Obama is apt to make mistakes or bad choices just as "Bush, Ashcroft, Cheney and the Devil " as you say but not to the same degree. Not nearly from my perspective. I'm not totally thrilled with everything Obama has done but I would never put him in the same category as those others. Well, maybe the devil, but I have sympathy for the devil.
Sorry for being a wise-ass. It's been a loooooong day.
Bottom line for me in any case is- I'd like to see Obama get re-elected and given a more fair shake to do what he is capable. I still don't believe he has been given a chance to do that. I know some of you strongly disagree with me on that but that's where I stand.

Sometimes I try to do things and it just doesn't work out the way I wanted to.
I get real frustrated and I try hard to do it and I take my time and it doesn't work out the way I wanted to.
It's like I concentrate real hard and it doesn't work out.
Everything I do and everything I try never turns out.
It's like I need time to figure these things out.
But there's always someone there going.
Hey Mike:
You know we've been noticing you've been having a lot of problems lately.
You know, maybe you should get away and maybe you should talk about it, maybe you'll feel a lot better
And I'm all like:
Oh nah it's ok you know I'll figure it out, just leave me alone I'll figure it out.
You know I'm just working on it by myself.
And they go:
Well you know if you want to talk about it I'll be here you know and you'll probably feel a lot better if you talk about it. So why don't you talk about it?
And I go:
No I don't want to I'm okay, I'll figure it out myself.
But they just keep bugging me and they just keep bugging me, and it builds up inside.
So you're gonna be institutionalized
You'll come out brainwashed with bloodshot eyes
You won't have anyting to say
They'll brainwash you until you see their way.

I was in my room and I was just like staring at the wall thinking about everything.
But then again I was thinking about nothing
And then my mom came in and I didn't even know she was there.
She called my name and I didn't hear her and then she started screaming: MIKE! MIKE!
And I go:
What, what's the matter?
She goes:
What's the matter with you?
I go:
There's nothing wrong mom.
She's all:
Don't tell me that, you're on drugs!
I go:
No mom I'm not on drugs I'm okay, I was just thinking you know, why don't you get me a Pepsi.
She goes:
NO you're on drugs!
I go:
Mom I'm okay, I'm just thinking.
She goes:
No you're not thinking, you're on drugs! Normal people don't be acting that way!
I go:
Mom just get me a Pepsi, please
All I want is a Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me.
Just a Pepsi.

I was sitting in my room when my mom and my dad came in and they pulled up a chair and they sat down.
They go:
Mike, we need to talk to you.
And I go:
Okay what's the matter?
They go:
Me and your mom have been noticing lately that you've been having a lot of problems,
And you've been going off for no reason and we're afraid you're going to hurt somebody,
And we're afraid you're going to hurt yourself.
So we decided that it would be in you're best interest if we put you somewhere
Where you could get the help that you need.
And I go:
Wait, what are you talking about, WE decided!?
MY best interests?! How do you know what MY best interest is?
How can you say what MY best interest is? What are you trying to say, I'M crazy?
When I went to YOUR schools, I went to YOUR churches,
I went to YOUR institutional learning facilities?! So how can you say I'M crazy?
They say they're gonna fix my brain
Alleviate my suffering and my pain
But by the time they fix my head

Doesn't matter, I'll probably get hit by a car anyways.
I love that Guy, and will probably do just that, but not a lot of hope he can win.
no, not a lot of chance he can win, but I am starting to believe that is on him and his national campaign leaders. I am sorry to see him go.
I love how a guy who is a staunch constitutionalist is considered the extreme nutbag in the republican party...the party that always talks about the constitution.

Ron Paul's 15 minutes are about up. I'd say in a week or so. Unless the wrath of God comes down upon Tampa Bay and cleans the slate.
One can hope right?
Peace.
