    Did anyone get presale for Chicago?

    Anyone trying tomorrow for Chicago?


    I did not try on Monday for the pre-sale - probably would have been a wasted effort the way it sounds. But I will try tomorrow. I had to check hotel prices, travel prices, etc before committing. But it looks like Chicago in January will be pretty cheap.......... and pretty cold too!

    I did the presale and got tix for night 2.

    Finally got to listen to King Animal in its entirety today....holy shit....friggen awesome...honestly better than I even expected!

    I like it more and more especially after watching the Youtube of their Lettermen performance.
    I regret posting negatively earlier.
    I guess it doesn't impact you like their previous albums, it grows slowly on you.

    You know I listen to the album and watch the Letterman concert and all I can think is....this band broke up in 1997 and here they are back in 2012 and they haven't missed a step.....its blows my mind how good this band still is and how unreal this new album is.....by far in my opinion one of the best rock albums released in the last 10 years. I havent loved an album this much since " Avacado" .

    I totally agree. Impossible to review this album after one listen -- to fully appreciate it takes some time. But man, after listening to it on headphones all week at the office, it may be my favorite Soundgarden album, which I never would've expected 2 weeks ago.

    Attrition is very Wellwater Conspiracy-esque with all the hoo hoos and Eyelid's Mouth's intro is highly reminiscent of Faithful.
