waited all day at Lollapalooza to get the rail when they came back.....saw like 8-10 shows after before Chris' untimely death, always close up......just phenomenal....his solo shows were also incredible, seeing him & his daughter duet, breaks your heart looking back. Also saw him a few times walking around manhattan, hard to miss being so tall. Never approached him, always looked like he was chillin

    great album

    RIP
  • I agree on solo. Still to this day seeing him at the paladium in London  is my best ever gig

Chris solo was transcendent but it's own thing, to me.
I loved seeing them on King Animal.  Great show...wish I'd seen them more.
    Really a strong record!
The love he receives is the love that is saved
  • King Animal is great! Love first four tracks and Rowing is awesome.

Saw him on a solo tour in Atlanta for Higher Truth. Almost didn’t go, but man what a show. Songs from every band he participated in, covers, and his solo stuff. Plus, some strings accompaniment. Amazing.

I did 4 of the king animal shows and it was mind blowing each member of that band is unique and  live i felt ben was scary in a good way.   What a band.  Unique  is the  perfect explanation

A complete  musician and to think he started  as a drummer.  What a guitar player  and  to sing like that and play such intricate guitar. Legend in my eyes

I only saw SG once, and it was on the King Animal tour... I had the same thought on Ben after the show, I never truly appreciated what he brought to the table until I saw them live, that guy was a friggin' BEAST.

haha, I saw them once in 95. Ben was drunk out of his fucking mind. his bass sound was so muddy it hurt our ears. Glad that was a one off (or at least not present day)
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer
