an agenda? and you are right about a few things. armed guards at government building generally carry a semi-automatic of some kind. a .44, .45, or a 9mm. is there a semi automatic .357 these days? a glock .357? i've only know of the .357 revolvers.

 btw, what is wrong w/ in & out shell power? .357 is my favorite handgun round and my favorite cracking sound when set off. although a .44 magnum has some sound to 'em :corn:

I think it's just the issue with the power. Don't need the bullet carrying on so it may accidentally hit another person...

Armed guards? Hmm. I must live in a more laid-back area.
every social security building has an armed guard...to my notion anyway. very serious place. mostly a group of overpaid shiftless lil shits but nonetheless they're protected generally by a rotund armed guard whom dislikes folks to carry in a bottle of water

can't take to long to produce 174,00 rounds of ammo. we have the ammunition plant just across the way over here and it has been making bullets big & small for a very long time. they're a government outfit and employ many a workers and are inside guarded enterance ways and inside barbwire fencing all surrounded by corn & soybean fields. they used to mess with automatic energy back in the 50's-70's.

    174thousand .357 shells isn't shit really.

174,000 rounds. Isn't that about 27% of the current inventory at your local Wal-Mart?

You solved and re-opened my conspiracy theory in the last 60 minutes! Guards needing ammo made sense (didn't seem efficient based on the bulk quantities, but this is the US government we are talking about). But purchasing ammo generally reserved for revolvers doesn't make sense.

    Hmm ...

I need DriftingbytheStorm's input on this one.

I had to get a new card a few years back. Unless the little old lady had a gun taped underneath her desk, I'm pretty sure I didn't see any guards. It was as exciting as going to the BMV.

9mm has knock down power and a .357 goes clean thru..not much knock down to it...so I have heard.
I had a 357 long barrle and they are scarry looking weapons for sure but a 45 wheel gun is pretty scary also

Big government is sure arming up; what are they afraid of or what are they preparing for?

This isn't the FBI either. I read the National Weather Service is also arming up. For what?
