Dude, seriously. You are like E News (unfair & unbalanced) posting these things that are clearly designed to instigate bashing of a decent human being - which, last time I checked, you or anyone here has met before.
Sorry Chris, didn't mean to take the piss. I am an equal opportunity offender though, if Ed had worn that I would have said the same thing. I think Smashing Pumpkins are amazing, one of my favourites forever.
No big deal. I was calling out Grunge Report with my biting comments. Just frustrated that the same few people tend to have him at the end of their spear. I've met the guy twice. First time in 96' - he easily could have been the douche Mr. Grunge Report likes to say he is - but he sat and talked with me for a good long time and honestly was the nicest 'rock star' I've met and clearly in love with music and what he does. Second time Jimmy Chamberlain and him took time out to talk to me in Euclid - just before their Zwan show in 2003. Again, nicest guy ever. We were all looking at vinyl over at Vintage Vinyl and I noticed he was standing right next to me. 7 years apart and the guy is consistently nice and good spirited. Not a fluke - and as a therapist for 10 years I've met some folks that are certainly consistently all the things you guys jump over Corgan for being. Jumping all over Corgan's case for something I'm sure we've all done at one point in our lives - just isn't fair. My frustration is that this website has gone out of their way to pick on the guy. He's human and has quirky faults. Taking advantage of a mostly pro-Soundgarden audience to rally some hate towards Billy Corgan is kind of messed up. We're all better than that - humans that is.

I could see if their album was complete shite and covered LMFAO and Katy Perry...
Is Corgan giving everything he currently makes to charity?
thank you for the heads up.
