post in thread what playoff format you think we should use and if you want into pool

i think we should not add half point to spreads without them during the playoffs

this will cut down a little on ties for total wins

The Waiting Trophy Man

Last year, for the tiebreaker, we predicted the final score in each game. You took the difference between the combined score we predicted and the actual score and added them up. In the case of a tie, the person with the lowest number would win.

I'd vote to do it this way again.

or just change the tiebreaker and do :

friday spreads

all picks in before 1st saturday kickoff

and the tiebreaker change, rank your picks 4 through 1

so your most confident pick is worth 4 points, and so on through

that would be for the 1st 2 weeks, then it's just 2 picks for 1 weekend , with your most confident pick worth 2 points

these ranks and points are only for tiebraking purposes

the most wins out of the 11 games, wins the pot

only a tie for 1st in wins would result in using points accumulated by your ranking picks

if that ties, split the pot as many ways necessary

or someone else might have another playoff pool idea

by the votes we will go with my version

pick the games against the spread, just like the regular season

the tiebreaker will be - pick the total of any 1 game each weekend

everyone will have a running total for the tiebreaker that i explained earlier

you can either post the score for both teams or give just a total for the game

it's the same number either way

pm me all selections and 1 total each week before the kickoff of the 1st game played

after the 1st weekend round, i will pm my picks to the person in last place

i will try to do this as soon as i post spreads so i won't make picks after i have seen any other picks

So I just want to get this straight.

All we need to do is pick a winner all for games against the posted spread.

Get Ed all 4 picks by 4pm Saturday.

And pick a total points for any one of the 4 games.
