Am I the only one who's kind of excited about this? I bet Snoop does it big and gets the Wailers to back him when he plays live. I'm interested to see what's going to come out of this.

Actually, yeah, it's pretty cool. But I'm biased. I'm much more into the feel, the sound and the ideas behind reggae than hip hop.

well, if he doesn't want it, i am gonna claim the name snoop dogg....

i'm tired of playing guitar in a rock band...it is no longer challenging....

    gangsta rap, here i come...

    BEOTCH!!

Oddly enough, gimme, 26 others have already done the same. This makes you snoopdogg27. Oh, and since you're rapping now and not playing guitar, you can send your Les Paul c.o.d. Glad to pay the shipping. I' promise I'll take good care of it! ;)
lol, which les paul are you requesting? i have three :D

the white custom is not even my favorite of them, so you can have that one

I love me some reggae music:

Dr. Alimantado - Born For A Purpose

Man, reggae music sucks. It's one step above mariachi and one step below polka.

Hey hey! I'll take reggae over those other two any day :P

(you do get points, however, for ranking it above mariachi. Nothing like trying to enjoy a plate of nachos and guacamole without being serenaded. Almost worse than having happy birthday sung to you at a restaurant but with the same end result - "please, please just go away")

I have to dig up that picture of my 80 year old grandmother getting the birthday treatment at a Mexican restaurant... sombrero with bells and all :fp:

My family hails from Wisconsin where polka is still considered Top 40 Pop music. :fp:

I love it when people sing happy birthday at me! I don't care where it is or who sings... or really even if it's not my birthday.

The problem is that everyone sings it so fucking slowly. They need to pick up the pace. When I'm involved, I just sing it at double tempo, and everyone has to catch up.

I always pull a Larry David and either don't sing it or just mouth the words.

I really wish I could go to Larry David's bday party just so I could make a huge production of singing happy birthday to him. :D

I'm never disappointed when someone else makes a scene. The bigger the better. ;)
