That must have been some serious weed he smoked. Someone needs to page Dr. Willie and get him back to normal.

Do you know why weed is synonymous with reggae music? It's because you have to be stoned out of your mind to enjoy reggae music. :geek:

I can get into a bit o'reggae if in the right frame of mind, and I dig some of Snoop's shit.

I will, however, miss this eloquent side of the Dogg:

Yeah, let the party begin, bitch
Ching-a-ling Ling, all the way in St. Louis
My nigga Chingy, Disturbing Tha Peace
Luda, Luda, going hard on you hoes
Yeah bitch, bring four of ya friends
Meet me at the Holidae In

 Heard this this morning. My first thought was that maybe he ISN'T the coolest guy on the face of the planet. Kind of made me sad. I mean, Snoop Dogg could be the coolest person ever reciting Mary Had a Little Lamb or mimicking that nerd from Family Matters. But Snoop Lion can't. :(

 Oh Snoop Dogg. Wtf.

Snoop used to be so good. His parts on The Chronic are classic, but he's been a joke for at least the last 10 years.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

Am I the only one who's kind of excited about this? I bet Snoop does it big and gets the Wailers to back him when he plays live. I'm interested to see what's going to come out of this.

Actually, yeah, it's pretty cool. But I'm biased. I'm much more into the feel, the sound and the ideas behind reggae than hip hop.

I love me some reggae music:

    Bob Marley - Concrete Jungle

Dr. Alimantado - Born For A Purpose

Hey hey! I'll take reggae over those other two any day :P

(you do get points, however, for ranking it above mariachi. Nothing like trying to enjoy a plate of nachos and guacamole without being serenaded. Almost worse than having happy birthday sung to you at a restaurant but with the same end result - "please, please just go away")
