    Ten

I remember I was watching an Idol style tv show (back in '94, maybe '95, something like that...) and there was that guy singing a really really great song... Didn't know the title of the song, they only said it was Pearl Jam. So I was like "wow, i have to find out who they are, I need to hear this song again" :D Turned out it was Alive, I got a copy of Ten from some guy and this is how it all started... Ten became one of the biggest albums in my life... if not THE biggest :)

Ten ... 1991 I saw the video for Alive on tv in the middle of the night,I was stunned, went looking for the single the next day.I had to order it,it took two weeks to arrive at the music store.I had taped the show and would watch the video on repeat, took the single with me when I visited friends or put it on when they came to visit me,insisting they listen to it,not to many were that impressed :fp:
Bought Ten the morning it was released, wore out two copies in the first year.

Ten, although I didn't start getting into rock music until 1995. The three songs I listened to the most at the beginning were Even Flow, Jeremy, and Black.

First album I heard by them was Ten, which was probably 4 or so years ago.

First album that really got me into the band was Backspacer. I saw it leaked for what ever reason decided to listen to it. It blew my mind. :D

It was Ten. I was 13 when it came out, and oh-so-moody and teenagery, and I freaking LOVED Ten.

    Ten-

my first midnight sale was Vs and that really took it to the next level for some reason. I was so excited about Vs., and Vitalogy...and No Code.

However, seeing them live put them over the top I think

I remember buying Ten on cassette back in the day.

I love that album. I got vs. around when it came out and vitalogy as well. I really got into them and joined the ten club after meeting some like minded individuals after going away to school. That is when we started trading boots and getting the records on opening day. I remember getting the I got ID single and listening to it non-stop for a long time (same thing with no code). We got together and listened to checkpoint charlie and monkey wrench radio. I was a tried and true fan ever since that time. Seeing them live after all of that just indoctrinated me even more.

    Ahh the memories....

    Ten.
I was in college and my best friend and I (roommates at that time) listened to it so much that it's the soundtrack to that part of our lives...actually, to any point in our lives I suppose...we basically listened to it at all times in late 1991 and all of 1992 but now when I listen to it (which is still a lot, at least once a week or so) my fondest memories of it are drifting off to sleep to Release and waking up to any part, but somehow usually Once woke me up, as we just turned down the volume instead of turning it off when we finally went to sleep and always had it set to repeat. They have been my music ever since.

I was a junior in high school right around the time Yield came out, I had heard a couple of the songs from it on the radio and loved them, but didn't pay attention to who the band was. A friend and I were on the bus one day and she was stunned that I didn't know who Eddie Vedder was; she made me listen to Vitalogy on the spot, and I was intrigued.
A couple of years later, I bought Ten, listened to it on repeat for months, and the rest is history.

TEN was the first thing i heard. After that nothing ever was the same again in my musical universe...
I remember I had to tell the guy in the record shop to start the cd again when I was through (you couldn't control the player yourself). I was so overwhelmed by that first run.

I'm a late comer when it comes to Pearl Jam. I only got into them after watching the Into the Wild film, the soundtrack caught my ear and I went and bought the CD the next day. This album really helped me get through a pretty tough adjustment to moving to a new city, holding down my first full time job, sitting in traffic jams for an hour both going to and coming home from work. I was feeling a bit like a zombie and thinking there must be more to life than this. So I'll be eternally grateful for this record and why I can't wait to see Eddie solo in Manchester on Saturday!

Anyway, from there I went and bought Rearview Mirror....and the rest is history :D

Ten...on the beach in Daytona, out in front of a friends place, he brings out a cassette to play in the car while we were trying to learn to surf in the freezing water. On a warm-up break, I went back to the car & it was playing....blew me away!

The song that was playing was Garden....still love that song.

--- TEN --- ;) After watching PJ on Headbangers Ball on MTV Europe I fell in love with this band and their music and bought TEN the next day. There was that certain something no other band had before. Listening to TEN is like going back to my teenage years in a time capsule. Have seen PJ a cuple of times over the years, but the recent concerts in Berlin were simply amazing.

For me, it was Ten in the fall of 91. Picked it up for Evenflow, but was hooked for life by Release.
