That Bill Murray seventh inning stretch was great. EV has something to try and top if he is asked to do it.

EV has his work cut out for him after this stunning rendition.

Three words that describes the Cubs offense. A fucking single wins the game and Javy is still swinging for the god damn fence on a (very) high fastball. Every batter trying to go yard last night instead of just trying to string some hits together.
My only hope for this World Series now is that Joe Buck fulfills his ever so obvious dream of being tag teamed by Corey Kluber and Andrew Miller.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250 -
Bill Murray was great.
We made Josh Tomlin look like a fucking hall of famer. He wasn't spot on with his stuff. It's truly amazing that when the cubs are cold, they're freezing. Hendricks pitched a great game. It's a shame to have wasted such a good start with no hitting. The problem does not lie in schwarber not starting or heyward blowing goats. It's fowler. When fowler gets on base, we win. Period. He has to get his head out of his ass. Our pitching g is so much better and we just need 1 guy to get on base twice a game to win.will myself to find a home, a home within myself

Joe Buck is a tool!
And you are correct. Cubs were definitely swinging at shit pitches. They need to win tonight.- Chicago Gchicago98-chicago00-chicago03-east troy03-chicago06-chicago09-east troy11_2-chicago13-moline14-milwaukee14-lexington16-chicago16_1-chicago16_2-chicago18_1-chicago18_20 -

Holy shit! Everyone I was watching the game with was asking who the fuck that goddamn tool singing the anthem was. We had to do Wiki searches because we assumed he was Lord Wrigley the VII and nepotism allowed him the honor of performing.chiwhitesox said:That's what happens when you pick Patrick Fucking Stump to sing your national anthem. 71 years. Did you end up in there? Or where you forced elsewhere?"A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0

Forced elsewhere. And it doesn't even seem nearly as packed as it did before and after pearl jam. There was no one out in the beer garden area.darwinstheory said:Did you end up in there? Or where you forced elsewhere?

I'm going to brave the Wrigley crowd tomorrow. I'm at Lou Malnati's for the night.0

Not the result I was hoping for but easily the best most intense sporting event I've ever been to. Unbelievably grateful for the experience. Only my wedding and birth of my son were better nights in my life. The crowd and energy were unreal, especially after those big double plays. The just absolute joy of everyone in attendance until the last out was a truly incredible feeling. My voice is finally starting to come back. Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow for game 5 tomorrow. Need to get it done tonight Cubbies!!Post edited by pureoc onAlpine Valley 6/26/98, Alpine Valley 10/8/00, Champaign 4/23/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Grand Rapids 10/3/04
