Exactly. Celebrating like they won the whole thing yesterday scares me. Shots for the owner in the club house? You won the division fellas, lots to go. Calm down.....SPEEDY MCCREADY said:Who scares me?

Yeah that was big. I get resting guys, but you need to lock up homefield. A little too laxative in my mind.HesCalledDyer said:At least the Nats lost. Home field magic number = 9

I kind of feel that home field is just a formality at this point as well."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0

We are going to lose 3 out of 4 to the mother fucking Brewers. (And damn near swept). Yeah, I don't like this. There's not a killer instinct right now. Amount of guys left in scoring position yesterday and today is a problem. We should be playing these games like the postseason right now. Bunting, hit and run..... If for no other reason than to get ready. We're not doing that. I have to question the mind set a little bit.HesCalledDyer said:We are going to lose 3 out of 4 to the mother fucking Brewers. (And damn near swept). Unfuckingreal.

Didn't look good over the weekend for sure. At least 2 of the 4 gms they basically rolled out a AAA lineup. Again I get resting guys but I think they are resting em too much. When you let the foot off the gas it can be really difficult to get it back on.HesCalledDyer said:We are going to lose 3 out of 4 to the mother fucking Brewers. (And damn near swept). Unfuckingreal.

#thecurseisreal. Nice overly unnecessary celebration the other day. Maybe next year when they win the division they won't jinx themselves......0
-
Yeah, you've been beating that drum. I'm not sure it really holds any weight. Every team celebrates when they win the division. Overly unnecessary? Not sure. They celebrate every win, and have for this and last season - to the point that they have a dedicated room in the clubhouse for it with a smoke machine. I'm not sure the celebration had anything to do with it. I think we need to take a step back and relax. This team has had the right mindset all year. I'd be surprised to see anything different for the last week of the season and the playoffs.elvistheking44 said:#thecurseisreal. Nice overly unnecessary celebration the other day. I'm a cub fan, I know the Cubs, I know the history, they should be walking on egg shells.....I'm scared to death how this is gonna play out.....Post edited by elvistheking44 on0 -
As bad as dropping 3/4 to the Booze Crew seems, I'd much rather them hit that slump now than next month. The Nats lost again, home field down to 8. The celebration Friday has nothing to do with yesterday or today and there is no such thing as a damn curse.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250
