    Thoughts and prayers are with you. Sick to my stomach when I heard the news this morning. So sad, so unnecessary...cannot get my head around it.

    What a horrible, senseless tragedy. My prayers are with the families, friends and the entire community. I cried reading about this, and yes, it did bring thoughts of Columbine to my mind.

    This is such a tragedy. I was at a movie theater about 10 miles away last night in Denver seeing Savages. We saw a bunch of cop cars going east but didn't realize why until this morning. This is such an amazing state but with so many tragedies over the years. Can't stop thinking about it. Very sad.

    I work with a guy who's daughter was in the theater. Luckily she and her friends were unharmed...physically.

    My thoughts are with the families of those devastated.

    Unfortunately, it really isn't that hard to imagine a tragedy like this. Events like this are entirely too common in the United States. While I offer my condolences, I can't help but wonder how soon it will be before we're offering condolences to the people of another city or town in the wake of such violence. This is a problem that people keep talking about, but it's not a problem that America wants to solve.
