Wait... So you're NOT going to Chicago??
And yeah what part of Co? Of course it doesn't matter
Unless you're stuck going to Pueblo!! Lol but the rest
Of the state is gorgeous. Especially Rocky Mountain Nat'l
Park!ohhhj and if you're into that sorta thing, The Stanley
Hotel, ( the one the book The Shining was inspired by) is
in EstesPark Co. It's really neat to see, but man do they
make a run off The Shining! Got this sweet Redrum shot
glass when Iwent riding out there last year! Enjoy our
Beautiful state. And if you're not going so far as RMNP,
Check out Garden of the Gods! It's amazing! I ride out there
rvery year too
sounds like we are heading out to colorado this summer to get away from city. looking forward to this.
Where in Colorado?
denver for a couple of days, then some state park west of denver for a few days. nothing is official yet, but that is the early plan. hence the need for a two wheeled ride.. gotta do some twisties in the mountains on one.

Steamboat Springs has gotten a lot bigger, but I still enjoy it and recommend a visit... I recommend heading up the mountains and if you like hiking, go walk up the trails by the ski slopes... you can mountain bike them too... had some great times elk hunting there

sylvan lake is where we are looking. just get away from everything, do some fires, some smores, tear up the roads, do a train trip (yeah, dorky i know) , maybe some fishing, just get away from people/traffic and relax.

fair enough...thought everyone knew i lived in this area.
i'd like to hit up a baseball game in denver, i've not even looked into things to do. i'll take any historic sites if you have any good suggestions. based on my early schedule, denver would be an all day sunday, 3/4 monday sort of stop
Well...Morrison is about 15-20 minutes outside of Denver...(where Red Rocks
Amphitheater is) and there's killer Museums, and old school
theatre houses downtown. There's the Federal Mint downtown, and I believe
it's Buffalo Bill that's buried out there, could be wrong on the
person, but there's shit tons of Old West History out here! And if you're
already in Denver, and want to go to the mountains, about three hours up
the 70 w. is Glenwood Springs. There's an amazing lake just off the highway that
you hike about an hour and a half to get to, called the Hanging Lake. It is
A Geological anomaly that absolutely MUST be seen to be believed! And in
Glenwood Springs, is a hotel with the HUGEST hot springs!
Man made containment, natural springs! Totally badass!
