Set List:
01. Sometimes
02. Animal
03. Given To Fly
04. Got Some
Ed talks about how much it means to them to stand on a stage where X had been early in the evening.
05. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
Ed, referring to the ceiling of the 02 arena that has spoked circle support, says when he was watching X play he thought the ceiling looked like God's eye. He then paraphrases Oscar Wilde when asked if he (Oscar) believed in God, Oscar replied, 'No, I believe in something much bigger'. Ed then said, "Tonight we are going to call this song "God's Eye".
06. God's Dice
07. The Fixer
08. I Am Mine
09. Corduroy
10. Even Flow
11. Setting Forth
12. Not For You/Modern Girl-(Sleater Kinney)
13. Push Me, Pull Me
Ed says "Thank you very much" in Czech.
14. Garden
Ed asks to see all the flags the audience are holding. He comments on the variety of flags the audience has. He says "aren't you glad we got you to come to Prague? A hidden gem".)
15. Half Full (during the song Ed reflects a spotlight off of his guitar into the audience)
Ed-"I would like to dedicate this to our great friend John Doe"
16. Unthought Known
(Ed says there are lot of people that see every show including the crew, X and family. He says, "you know it's not bullshit when I say this is the best crowd we have had on this tour." He mentions his injury and thinking that playing music in a band might get taken away from him and how happy he was to be able to play in a place as beautiful as Prague with the people here tonight is something the band really appreciate.)
17. Wasted Reprise
18. Life Wasted
19. Why Go

Encore Break 1
20. Of The Girl
Ed dedicates "Just Breathe" to Javier and Marta.
21. Just Breathe
22. Crazy Mary-(Williams)/ Angie-(Jagger, Richards)
23. Once
24. Do the Evolution (crowd continues to sing the "oh, oh, oh" to the melody of the song until the band comes back for the encore and even once the get on stage.)

Encore Break 2

Ed says he was walking with Exene after X's set and she said "it is a great crowd tonight." Exene was correct as always. Ed introduces the band with Stone holding notes so Ed can get the Czech words for their instruments
25. World Wide Suicide
26. Better Man/Save It For Later-(Charley, Cox, Morton, Steele, Wakeling) (Ed implores the audience to give him a break from singing-they should enjoy singing as well. He sings the first line and the audience takes over until the chorus when Ed starts singing again. At the "save it for later" outro he improvs lyrics only keeping the "don't run away" line from the song.)
27. Black
28. Alive
29. Baba O'Riley-(Townshend)
(Ed asks the crowd something in Czech)
30. Yellow Ledbetter

    Helluva show.

Dont post often in show reviews if at all but just want to say the crowd was amazing. Easily the best I've been in. Sang their hearts out, rocked their socks off and made for a wonderful, wonderful show.

Thank you all. Thank you Pearl Jam.

And don't get excited about Angie. It was a couple of bars.

Great crowd. The band seems to be having a lot of fun at these shows. Mike played the last part of Even Flow with the guitar behind his head. Not to be outdone eddie then played the intro to Setting Forth behind his head. Funny moment.

Do the evolution was one of the best. Eddie had the crowd sing stone's guitar part several times. I think he was so into it he later forget the lyrics to the part right after it.

Was thinking since the show started 30 minutes later than normal that we would get a shorter show. I was wrong.

Today was one of the best days of my life. I met jeff this am and of course he was very nice and cool. My buddy met mike later on so we were both beaming more than usual for the show. The show was unreal. Ive been to many and the crowd was a step above. The band definitely reciprocated with a lively, awesome show. Setlist highlights for me were half full, push me pull me, great renditions of the ten album songs, save it for later, setting forth into not for you into modern girl, of the girl, and baba. Prague is easily one of the best cities in the world and i cant wait for what berlin has in store. This band DOES keep getting better. Theres no denying it. They are having a blast on stage and thats always contagious. Eddie sounds great too. am so thrilled to be a member of this family. Its so special. Thanks pj and thanks pj crowd.

Unfuckingbelievable. Still processing but the crowd was amazing, band was amazing. Set list could have been anything really, it would not have mattered. Been meeting some wonderfully nice people too, I think most of you will be in Berlin, so see you soon :)

Rob + Mrs Rob from Baltimore standing about 3 rows deep Mike's side, it was super cool chatting before the show and also rocking out. I was standing right next to you, from NYC and stressing out about grabbing the poster :) Between worrying about merch and getting home I totally forgot to tell you in person.

I ran into Stone + daughter in the morning too which was super cool. Totally unexpected, all I said was, "I'm going to the show tonight! And Stone said, "oh yeah? It's going to be a great show, I think". I didn't want to bother him more so all i said was "see ya". And boy oh boy,was it ever!!!! Stone came over to Mike's side at the end of the show to wave and say thank you, which I don't think I've seen. Gawd I can't wait for the boot!!

Ed said something about his injury, and how there was a moment when he thought all this might be taken away from him, and being able to do this with this crowd was just amazing. Something like that. He also said Prague's the best crowd of the tour so far :mrgreen:

There were many good moments but one of my favorite parts was when Ed was making up words on the spot about not wanting the night to end...Might have been Not For You? And he he kept going and at one point Jeff, Mike, Stone and Matt were all like, I'm, where are you going with this? And Ed started singing a song and forgot entire lines. Can't remember which song, don't think it was on the official set list. Im not good with remembering songs..if only there was a way.. Oh right. Official boots!!! Oh and when Ed introduced the band in Czech and Stone was the other guitar player and note paper holder or something to that effect because Stone was holding up Ed's notes while he was addressing the audience in Czech. And they were both cracking up.

And when he quoted Oscar Wilde he first said "Oliver Wilde" then corrected himself, saying "he lets me call him Oliver"

Favorite song I heard were probably Crazy Mary which I don't normally love.

Favorite favorite part of the night was seeing the band so happy!

    WOW. I don't think I can sleep tonight! What a magical night! I can't stop smiling :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

I thought the show was a little rough at the begginning but picked up momentum quickly.
The crowd really gave back the energy the band was putting out.
Loved Of the Girl, & Push me pull me into Garden.
Also a particularly moving Crazy Mary.
Met some great people, including 5 Czech's that were seeing PJ for the first time for free after meeting Mike in Old Towne and getting on the guest list. At the start they were blown away by how much us freaks really love the band and couldn't believe that we travel from all over the globe to see them, but by the end of the show they totally understood. :)
    Thank you PJ & X!

long time lurker, today I have to share.

A very special show. My hometown. Family happening (mom, dad, brother, wife, 6 years old daughter - her first concert ever). Great seats - 1 row seats, about 10m from stage.

Working till 6pm, going home for a dinner, picking up family and than heading for a PJ gig is an once-in-a-lifetime experience after all the plane/train/car/hotel chaos of last years.

After Amsterdam 1, row 3-4 in front of Jeff, I was little bit afraid Prague will feel like lower energy, man I was wrong... The energy started to grow right from start, not slowing during the encore breaks at all. Most "big hits" were played which was cool having my parents (clapton, dylan, wonder, stones, even tina turner  listeners) there. I got my Push me Pull me and ofc GARDEN. Now hoping for Oceans tomorrow in Berlin. Loved my two fav covers, Baba and CM (hoped for this one, Mike and Boom rocking the shit out, like in Belfast). And finally 2nd encore, it couldn't get any better. You could feel the energy, 99% people on their feet, dancing, waving, rocking. Very special Betterman. Had an ecstatic grin on my face all the time, looking on stage, wife, parents, checking my daughter, seeing Dimi and many other familiar faces from other gigs in front of us rocking like crazy.

My daughter stayed up for about 70 minutes, standing on her seat and rockin' (pitty PJ started about 20mins late) and than fell asleep. I am sure she will remember this night for long time. Even in sleep, she smiled and clapped her hands after every song! Dancing and rocking to PJ and holding head of my sleeping kid is very very special experience.

Heading for Berlin tomorrow, will be more like a chill out after this emotionally so moving experience.

    What a night!

I think its been perfectly all summed up with the above review...

brought a lot of local friends and colleagues, mainly PJ virgins to experience all this. The setlist fit them perfectly which just added to the unbelievable atmosphere.

Im reading the local press reviews of last night show... a gig of the year for them. despite we are just half way thru... :D

(on the down note though - think the sound wasnt really ideal ... but we all been within 10 metres from the speakers, so dont know how it felt further the arena...?)

I really loved the show in Prague... However, I was amazed to hear Ed (and now to read similar posts) saying it was the best crowd on the tour so far...
Where I was standing - which was far at the back, so that our wives could try to see something - I unfortunately did not feel the energy... Could not even hear properly when the crowd was singing... And really my feeling was the people were simply not singing (i.e. on Betterman intro, Ed had to sing over pretty quickly; on Black, there was no singing at the end...)
Not to mention that we could not bring drinks in the middle place... which made it a little bit difficult...

Anyway, I really enjoyed the show... and reading all your posts, I regret I was not closer to the stage to really be part of the energy.

I'll see with the bootleg, but if you guys saw this show as a great one, I can really recommend you the Antwerp bootleg of Aug 30 2007...

I was there with you - next to suziemay. What a great spot we had. Such a fantastic show!

I didn't see anyone mention it (?), but when the show started, Mike came onstage holding his son. So sweet.

    Can't wait for Berlin!

Lifetime of an event last night! I took my wife and 7 year old son to the show (both of their FIRST shows, my 4th) and had him on the rail, row one on Stone's side. He's a huge Boom fan, especially having met him in the streets of Prague on Sunday and getting a photo. Plus he just loves yelling "Booooooooom" when he sees the DVD concert intros! FTR... Boom was truly warm and friendly to my son on the streets and during the show, even acknowledging him once he got on stage and saw my little man rocking out. Stab-the-heart moment... the little man had to hit the WC 2 songs into the final encore! While I was thinking "no way"... being a Papa comes before being a PJ fan (blaspheme here, I know) and so I left row one and headed back through the crowd with my son. Fast forward several AWESOME songs later than we heard from the lobby... and the show ended with Boom asking the crew to pass my wife (still in our spot @ show's end) his set list. The whole band and crew were FANTASTIC with him. Eddie was looking to pass him the tambourine, Boom the play list, and he also got a guitar pick. The tambourine went to a 10C member next to my wife, but the list and pick went to my son and wife (for my son). Show me another band in the history of the universe that goes out of their way for younger fans! Ya can't. In the end... one really tired 7 year old sleeping in the hotel room with a set list and pick in his hands, one tired Papa quietly hitting his iPod to run through some of the last encore songs heard from the lobby, and a wife who said "Wow. I had NO idea that would rock like that... and they were SO SUPER with our son."

To the 10C members on row 1&2 of Stone's side... THANKS! Super thanks to Michael from Sydney for helping make that show a family affair for us.

THAT is the essence of who, what, and why there's a band with a multi-million-member FAMILY. Guys... I wish I could do more than say "thanks"... but.... thanks.

See you guys in Berlin.... TWICE.
    6/21/07, 6/27/10, 7/2/12, 7/4/12, 7/5/12, 6/20/14, 6/22/14, 6/25/14 and then some.
If I don't fall apart.... will the memories stay clear?
