Very bummed that I can't watch/listen to this set unfold today as it's happening - and reading through all the reactions to the songs!
I've got to be downtown today for a meeting - but I plan to come back tonight and watch/listen/read as if I was here live.
Here's to a great show - for those there in person - and those here in the forum enjoying the show 'virtually'! I look forward to some entertaining reactions!!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

Here is the 1996
It's the Same Artist from 1996 too!!!
From Inside The Rock Poster Frame: Pearl Jam are in Prague tonight and they have gone back to the past to have Ward Sutton create the poster with Ames Bros tonight.
Ward created one of the most popular and rare posters for the band when they were there in 1996.
Ames Bros and Ward Sutton continue the theme and color scheme with tonight's poster.

I hope it's true... that's a pretty big mistake to make if it isn't. the split between the Slovaks and the Czech's was a pretty big deal, and I understand the 2 contries don't like each other very much anymore...
it's kind of neat that they did a follow up to the poster, but it definitely isn't as "classic" as the first one...
Has PJ played Prague since that show back in '96?
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

To quote myself...
A quick comparison between the two posters and you'll see that the original '96 poster only says "Prague", no country afterwards, and this one says "Praha, Czechoslovakia"... so obviously they were not striving from continuity, given that they switched languages and added the country...
I say it's just a screw up based on that... and a pretty big one if you ask me... :nono:

I think the opposite. I don't think they would go out of the way to spell it as Praha, where it was Prague in the 96, then mess up the country.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

I'm wondering if it is on purpose considering the original from 1996 and this one with the obvious communist or socialist theme?
I did wonder about that. I imagine the locals won't be best pleased!
Any sign of the flag?
It's on purpose, for that very reason.
