Haha, yeah, I was thinking the same thing: shell prolly be doing the whole thing, same as Sandra, hahaha. Wish I could afford it, but not this time :(
Cheap? well, one way London-Dusseldorf about 22 euros or so http://www.skyscanner. net
check it out at this site.
the more I look and the more it seems I'm going to have to miss some stuff....not moneywise but the logistics:
Lisbon-Madrid and Munich-Katowice are a nightmare!
Italy might also be very difficult.
So Madrid and Italy might have to go (no full PJ show will...I'll find a way to get to Kato!!)

Someone inhere asked about venue capacities. Don't know about the others, but Forum in Copenhagen has an all standing capacity of 10.000. I've been to a few concerts there and it's a great venue. The perfect size for a Pearl Jam gig imo.
Forum (http://www.forumcopenhagen.dk) is situated just outside the city center in Frederiksberg. There's a Metro-station (http://www.m.dk/en/welcome) just outside and 2 pretty cheap hotels nearby (http://www.cab-inn.dk)

More help needed please I really don’t want to screw this up. I hope you guys don’t mind and thanks in advance.
Can you suggest transportation options between Copenhagen and Nijmegen for me? Or should I stay in Amsterdam?
Is there a cool scenic train route or is it better to fly? What are customs like? Copenhagen and Nijmegen, do they have those nice Bakeries like Amsterdam?

Anyway, I'm yet to sort out how I'll get from Copenhagen to Nijmegen & Werchter. I'm doing em all 3 as well (+ Dusseldorf).
Tickets for the Southside and the Hurricane Festival will be available at mid february. Not sure if this also applies to one day tix.
Capacity for those Festivals is between 40000 and 50000.
Olympiahalle in Munich holds 14000.
The LTU Arena in Dusseldorf is a bit tricky. On the homepage it says that the Pearl Jam gig will be the premier of the "Panorama Set-Ups". This means that the position of the Stage varies depending on how many tickets were sold. With this set-up the stadium holds between 20000 and 38000.

Planing on enjoying freshly baked pastries? Don't know about Nijmegen, but there are no bakeries in Copenhagen (not the kind you're looking for). Customs are rarely present in Copenhagen airport. But when they are, they very often ahev a dog with them.
BTW possession, selling, buying and using are all forbidden in Denmark.

Because European flights are quite expensive. Here's an alternative to travel around by train:
Non-europeans:
See http://www.eurail.com for information about tickets & prices.
And I think we're even looking at the place here from even in front of the entrance. I heard there's quite a few people who just stay there and listen to the music and don't pay entrance.
the surface area will depend on the number of tickets sold.

The Goffert Park in Nijmegen is a great place for concerts. I saw Radiohead and REM here as well! Mind you, they will have fences so that people outside the concert ground can listen to the music but will not actually see anything!

Question for those who live in Europe: The Eurail seems to only work with "passes." What if I just want 1 train from Portugal to Spain and then Spain to Switzerland (non PJ related). Can I book just 1 train somehow or do I need to just get some sort of multi-day pass? Thanks.

You can buy individual tickets if you so choose, the eurorail is better for people planning on going to several countries.
Frorm Portugal to Spain you have a train from Lisbon to Madrid, i think it takes 6/8 hours or so.
Check out this link http://www.cp.pt
And i think that from Madrid ro Switzerland, you should have no problem to find tickets either.
I don't want to take what you can give
I would rather starve than eat your bread
I would rather run but I can't walk
Guess I'll lie alone just like before
Anybody have any idea about the cost of a train fare from Copenhagen to Malmo airport in Sweden? Also rough prices on metro's in copenhagen and busses in copenhagen.
I'm really just trying to work out a budget here so if anyone knows this it will be a great help. Thanks
