    Central Park show rescheduled from last night to this coming Monday 9/24. I wasnt able to make it if was last night, but now can attend. Very pumped !

    I must say that I am really disappointed in the new album. Had high hopes that it would be more reminiscent of their older albums, but its the exact opposite. Personally, I think its the worst of all their releases. Rick Rubin just doesn't work for me when it comes to producing their stuff. I and Love and You was pretty good, but more piano driven, and The Carpenter is more down that road as well. I just really miss the banjo in their songs. Don't get me wrong there are some solid tunes on the new album, but as a whole I think its sub par.

    Seeing the Avett Brothers Oct. 5th in Mesa...maybe hear a new song or 2 from new album before it drops on Oct. 15th ! 8-)

    Saw that first thing when I woke up and almost had a mini heart attack!! Two of my favorites--that's gonna be amazing!!

    Caught the Bros last Saturday at FreeFest and, as always (it was my 3rd Avetts show), it was absolutely incredible. It was at a festival, but seemed like the entire crowd was on board--cool to see. They are one of the few bands that come close to PJ in terms of how their concerts (and music, for that matter) make me feel. As for new songs, they played "Another Is Waiting" and also played a pretty new track called "Vanity." Getting excited for the new album!!
