Hey Anna, sorry! Everyone is safe! PHEW! Word is it was a high schooler that threatened to blow up the school. He is a foster kid and assuming it was a cry for help, however, the police did search his home and found "bomb stuff" - so obviously super scary because he could have .... he almost did.

I am so thankful beyond thankful that my daughter and all her classmates are safe.

I'm still a basket case! Thank you for checking on me!

It's so great to hear that everyone is safe, and that the police found out about that guy.

    Hugs and love !!!

My school was bomb threatened too once (living in sweden) I was on my way in to the school, didn't understand why so many people were standing outside, they stopped me and told about the threat which turned out was false.

Home address vs po boxes - sooo I've participated in different stuff on here that has required I mail out stuff to other board members. My question is if anyone has had any issues with sharing their own address??? Is it safer to use a po box? Will the post office not tell me if a package too large to fit in the po box arrived? Would large packages or posters just be returned to sender if I used a po box?? Not sure how much more I will participate with trades maybe not worth getting/paying for a po box?

What's your concern about sharing your home or work address? Stalkers? Thieves? (serious question)
As for the PO Box... I think they'll put oversized packages in a back room at the post office where you box is. That's how it is with Canada Post. But just go and ask at the post office where you want to get a PO Box.

Yes and no PJ. Ummm, there have been some comments about people that are questionable to work with or just flat out announced to not trade with. I don't know if anyone's had any issues in the past or like having their addresses or information sold. Just mainly paranoid.

My main concern with the po box is other members post certain carriers won't even deliver to po boxes??

I don't think there is anything to worry about with JUST your mailing address. I mean, if someone wants to attain that they can do it themselves in about 3 seconds. Unless you're in the witness protection program, your home address is basically publicly available info.

It's almost time for the Shamrock Shake. That's really the only thing that I'm willing to go to McD's for. Back in college, I thought that they were going to kill me with a horrible case of food poisoning. For years after that, I was vegetarian. No meat at the McD for me, please.
