    X-ray is a good idea. If it's bruised and painful, that's another hint.

    i do like the sun option....but yeah...x ray typically is the definitive answer

    i'd get it xrayed but don't remember hitting anything or doing anything to it to cause the pain

    X-ray is a good idea. If it's bruised and painful, that's another hint.

    Bruised, tender, painful, swollen

    x-ray is the best bet

    I didn't go through surgery but ended up with more than 2 months with cast. almost whole summer break :fp:
    and after almost 2 years still have nightmares about playing volleyball with broken wrist

    "Physical therapy"...never heard it referred to that way, could have used the other hand when the wrist was healing, but it certainly should have strengthened the damaged wrist nicely.
