Pearl Jam in Miami in March

I have been told from someone working fairly high up for the Langerado festival in Miami that Pearl Jam is all but booked for the festival March 6,7,8. If an album comes out January/February it would make sense for them to play there, it seems like they have been on a festival binge lately.

I REALLY hope that this isn't BS. I've alays wanted to check out Langerado and would love PJ to play there.

Here's an article from pollstar about it relocating:

I love how people are quick to dismiss a rumour based on when THEY think they album will be coming out.

There is A LOT of info out there that strongly suggests that an album could be in the works for an early 09 release. Especially when you consider comments by Stone about possibly releasing the album digitally.
Hey Baron, you going to make it down for this show if it happens? :)

Wow those are some great bands. I honestly would love for PJ to play at a festival like that. I think some of the people in the jam base would really appreciate PJ.

I'll be there if that's true!!
  • I always love shows I don't have to travel for!!!!
  • once i saw that they moved it to miami beach and made it back into an urban festival, i wanted to go. if this is true, it takes it to the next level.
  • This reminds me of the great source that said PJ was playing Austin City Limits and how the Smirnoff center in Dallas was already mentioning the show on their schedule.

What the hell? I wanted to go to Langerado some year, but doubt I will since they are moving it. Now one would need to get a hotel room instead of being able to camp there? I'd much rather camp out like at Bonnaroo.
  • a less than an hour driving distance show... that would be TOOOO sweet :)

hope this rumor it's not just that :)

you can get a hotel room overlooking the park. enjoy the shows from your bed, while you prepare yourself mentally to see PJ and the ocean breeze.

would love a 10c show like @ the vic

heres to hoping there is truth to the rumor

Looks like they are moving to a new location next year. It will be more like Lollapalooza is now where you have to get a hotel for the weekend instead of being able to camp like you can at Bonnaroo.
  • Hmmm might need to schedule a visit to my mom in March lol. (she lives in Florida from Jan - end of April every year)....then take a couple of days and visit my PJ buddies in Miami ;) lol you know who you are hehe.

I love to travel to see PJ, but for once look like I'll have them in my backyard! maybe I could have a BBQ and invite some jammers!
