What? How did that happen ... hmmm ...

Well, we all couldn't fit into either my car or your truck, that's for sure. Maybe one car if someone has a decent-sized SUV or something. It'd have to be big enough to fit all our gear, too (maybe we could get a luggage rack or lil lugger trailer or something). It'd certainly be cheaper to take only one vehicle. Maybe renting one ...?

So depending on the vehicle/costs, I'm game for one vehicle.

We're renting a car for Atl this week. They had a mini van for $22 a day with unlimited milage, but it was all the way by Midway.

22 per day for a mini van is cheap.

my math says it would be cheaper than two cars.

That's not too bad (the cost, not the down by Midway part). Of course, the trade off is we'll probalby get some pretty horrible gas mileage. But it is only one vehicle. Hmm. Quick math puts us at about $25 cheaper a person to rent the Midway mini.

Hmm. Also, I have relatives who own some vans. I'll see what I can do.

Spoke w/my bro & sis ... Neither have a vehicle we can (or would want) to use. So if we take a single vehicle, it'd have to be a rental.

How did this all get back to square 1? :fp:

On the plus side I doubt any of us will be sober when we go to sleep or pass out, whatever you wanna call it.

That actually puts people at greater risk for hypothermia because booze causes blood vessels to dialate, releasing more heat. While that makes you feel warmer, you're actually lose heat faster and are more susceptible to the cold. :ugeek:

However, cause you're drunk, you wouldn't know it!

this is actually good camping weather as long as you bring enough blankets to stay warm.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
