    A local TV weatherman/meteorologist who I met at this party a few years ago told me that anything more than 3 days out is complete bullshit. They only report it because the public wants it, but in doing so they delude the public into thinking it actually means something. Never ever trust a weather forecast more than 3 days before a time... if you do, you may as well be making your plans by referring to the Farmer's Almanac. In fact, he said that the Farmer's Almanac is MORE accurate than any long range weather forecast.

    PS - turns out that weathermen love to talk about the weather!
    PPS - it is still saying "Smoke" as the current weather there. :?

    Looking back it does seem 3 days sounds about right, good to know. I imagine those guys have to be pretty into weather so I'm sure they are fun at parties.
