I'm not sure if it's the case with Sipva, but the evolution of the sport finally catches up with everybody and their careers are seemingly done overnight.
Weidman's reaction was classic. Hope Uriah Hall can get his act together and can compete sooner than later...just a nasty striker.
Rousy is a skank, but she probably won't be beat for awhile. I thought she was playing the bad guy during the lead up and on TUF, but I read she was obnoxious afterwards. Tate seemed pretty douchy on the show too.
I didn't think I was too onto UFC 169 and therefore didn't get tix when they went on sale. But now I am changing my mind and think I will bite the bullet and get tix :? . This would potentially by my 6th UFC event.

Thanks for posting. I still can't believe that happened and even an explanation is cringe worthy.
i thought i would share. i have stood in dozens of surgeries, and these tibial repairs, hip and knee replacements, are just brutal procedures. lots of drilling, hammering, and sawing of bone. the worst part is the smell...
it was cool to see the doctor explain the injury and explain what he did to fix it. he did not say whether or not that tibial rod is supposed to be removed or not. i found it interesting that he did not repair the fibula, and that the fibula fracture is still displaced. i figured you would repair both. i know that if the fracture was distal enough it could compromise the ankle joint by causing it to widen and become unstable. but i guess the fracture was proximal enough that he did not need to repair the fibula. he said that repairing the fibula could jeopardize the healing of the tibia, and the tibia is by far the most important of the two bones, so i see why he did it that way. i just hope that silva has no lingering effects like nerve damage or anything like that.
