    this festival announcement has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for pearl jam. i haven't seen them since the bristow show in 2010, which wasn't very good if i'm being honest. i can't wait to see them again though, and i'm hoping they play a crazy set. my vote goes for 'Alive' as the opener. it just fucking kills on that newcastle bootleg from '06....and you know they're gonna play it anyway, so more room for some curveballs later in the set!

    how about oceans as the opener for the first encore?

    Not a chance they open with a downer. They are going to tear into something like the Spectrum shows.
